  1. How anyone can be unappreciative of what Mata has done is not even in it, I don't think there would be a single person on here, or anywhere. The debate isn't of that, the debate is about his long term future here and yesterdays happenings.
  2. There is that, but there is also the fact there is a time and place to show your frustration. This can be done away from the cameras behind close doors etc, and this doesn't just apply to Mata, but to every player. I never understand why players show petulance when they are subbed from the field, after all they maybe human and have feeling but they also have a level of professionalism to show, both as a player and role model. Jose said his door is always open for people to speak with him, this is the route Mata should of taken, now the Jose heckles are up and Mata has a choice. If my boss grills me at work I don't show petulance or annoyance I simply take it on the chin or debate back in a reasonable and rational way. We live in a media driven world which you would make them think twice about doing what they do no matter what the circumstances. He's a professional who want's to play football, that has to be remembered here and for the good of both parties the right agreement must be reached whether we part or stay company. I can see both points of view but Mata should of gone about this the right way, the way he did was the wrong way.
  3. He could be a magical bargaining tool is how I am looking at it.
  4. His ball through to Oscar where he dived was sublime.
  5. See it's the fine balance between having someone who is content sitting on the bench and being used sporadically and someone like him who wants o be playing and thinks he should be playing all the time. Saying 'Keep him' is easy to us, but he wants to play but isn't better right now then Hazard, Oscar or Willian, it's that simple.
  6. Yep, he wants a style and if Mata doesn't suit it then so be it. It's been discussed before and I will say it again, this isn't Torres or Mata FC it's Chelsea FC and Jose is steering this ship.
  7. A lot of Inter fans on another forum I frequent are actually willing for this to happen, that to me doesn't sit right.
  8. From what I hear about him there ain't much to look forward too.
  9. No surprise here then. They need to take the spot light away from how bad United are.
  10. What is more surprising is that Oscar just didn't carry on and score.
  11. Well done on the goal today, performance was fine. This club needs better, much better though.
  12. Let's not get to ahead of ourselves about the Oscar dive, it was a dive and no worse than what you see from nigh on every PL game or any other country for that matter. More is made because it's us and Jose and the fact we won and they want to blacken the result with this one isolated incident. I have another story to tell, we deserved this three points, we battered them second half and Southampton had no reply.
  13. And Jose also claimed he can play wide, he can, but he can play wide but needs the energy of Oscar and Willian, he hasn't got it.
  14. They can spend all they like, they won't catch us or win the league. Wankers.
  15. As Jim Royle would say "Title challenge my Arse"
  16. Should being the main word, AVB is just a stubborn cunt.
  17. If he has a gripe he needs to take it up with Jose out of sight of cameras, not whilst being subbed for Jose to see later. Everyone has to fight for their place, Mata ain't no different.
  18. Willian's goal was a joy to watch, the build up just as good.
