  1. I like to use the term elite level winger as opposed to WC, he's far from that for me....he's a brilliant player but still rough around the edges. But he is miles away from what we have here in Madueke, Doku is much better, much more direct and drives at people backing them up into the box which is what they don't like. Neto isn't bad but he like Noni likes to slow things down too often and come back, both have explosive pace but don't use it enough for me. I want to see my wingers first thought is to drive at full backs, ask the first question of the game by pulling their pants down and doing them with ease and leave them in a head spin for the rest of the game. I'm also not sure if Gittens is anything that I have touched on or better than Madueke or Neto
  2. Mentioned Martinez yesterday, really like him
  3. Romano now confirming Waltomade is close to bayern
  4. Ederson is coming to the end of his time now
  5. We see this a lot now and it's becoming more of a theme where we seem to drag transfer negotiations out for weeks and weeks and before we know the window is about to shut and the new player/s have no time to bed in and it's just frankly bad planning How any team can go to the last minutes of the window for transfers and get deals done is beyond me, it should never ever get to that unless a major injury to a key player has just happened or something out of anyone's control. To scramble around last minute is nothing but bad ownership and leadership for me
  6. Apparently that Waltomede 7ft Peter Crouch fella has agreed to go to Bayern
  7. The cash cows SD's will be all over this
  8. And as of right now an injury to Enzo is more of a worry than Palmer being injured. And as for Eze...we wouldn't pay the extra 3/4M for Maignan so what world I am living in to think we we pay an extra 13M for Eze I don't know
  9. Eze has a 68M clause, yet we are about to buy Gittens for 55M, Eze has now been added to Arsenal's list of targets... You couldn't make this up, you really couldn't
  10. Bayern aren't fucking stupid, this is a heavy fee for exactly what we are saying about him as a player We are getting fleeced here
  11. Pair of fucking wankers them two that's why....they are trying to sit round a table and get market prices, waste all that fucking time like it has been with Gittens and to then go back to the table and we are now going to pay the full price. They are fucking clueless
  12. Another point on the goalkeeper situation, is we were prepared to go for Maignan but decided an extra 3/4M was too much. Now, these links to Ter Stegen whether solid or not, why are we not spending big money on a keeper? Personally I would be going to Villa an asking about Martinez
  13. These SD's do nothing fast, once this gets done they will need a few weeks to deliberate the next target, chew over a starting figure, watch endless videos of them.......then the window closes
  14. Florian Plettenberg is reporting the deal for Gittens is getting closer
  15. Chilwell is a big wage earner sat on the books, he needs to be sold ASAP
  16. Ah right the old 'transfer illness' I get it now, a lot suffer from that
  17. No Gittens in the squad tonight for Dortmund
  18. There was no better place to give Santos a start especially when he was preaching about rotation and the heat. This what pisses me off with Maresca, he contradicts himself all the time and does not help himself.
  19. Arsenal pursuing a deal to sign Norgaard from Brentford
  20. Kepa to Arsenal is done, what a huge loss money wise that is
  21. I have watched that goal back from Delap, it gets better everytime. He backed into the defender purposely to take him out the game and then in one movement the way he shifts it with his left to feed to his right foot was wonderful. The touch with his left, it's very easy for the touch to be heavy but the weight to set it and then finish was sublime, it catches the keeper flat footed because he takes the shot so early Promising
  22. I'm reading right between the lines with this statement
  23. The other best thing to happen was Jackson getting suspended, it's paved a pathway for Delap without Liam worrying about being hauled off for him. Jackson is the architect of his own downfall and Delap will take this with both hands
  24. Great win, I was in bed fast asleep and was never going to stay up and watch this. Seen the goals, really pleasing, and I tell you what and I say this quietly but Liam Delap looks the dogs bollocks. Even early on he's leading the line and looking solid, his back to goal play is excellent and his goal last night was just a wonderful finish. Bring on Benfica, a more than winnable game
