  1. was important that we got the win today shame anelka didn't get a goal BUT.... given the option, i would rather him bag it on wednesday and send us to WEMBLEY!!!
  2. even if we dont win the league this season... the way we have preformed without JT, Lamps, Cech, Drogba etc etc etc and still grinding out results is testement to our boys
  3. fulham 0-3 arsenal looks like our west london derby is over for a few seasons
  4. lots of stuff on this now http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2990663,00.html but nothing official from the club yet....

  9. Provisional Chelsea squad: Cech, Hilario, Belletti, A Cole, J Cole, Ben-Haim, Alex, Carvalho, Bridge, Ferreira, Sidwell, Sinclair, Sahar, Wright-Phillips, Pizarro, Obi, Ballack. preferably.... i'd go with:- ..................Cech............... Belletti..Carvalho..Alex..A Cole ......Sidwell...Ballack..Obi..... ......J Cole..Pizarro..SWP..... but i can see it being:- ...........Hilario........... Ferrerira..Alex..Ben Haim..Bridge .....Sidwell..Ballack..J Cole... .....Sincalir..Pizarro..SWP... either team should beat everton i think
  10. MHU G17 Row E seats in the 240's great seats. sat there with my dad for the liverpool game on dec 19th... ... shame its not sold out yet. eps being a semi final and only £20 a ticket. maybe its cos its only the 1st leg
  11. I was MHU too. Cardiff at home would be brilliant
  12. i was at the game today.... .... crap line up .... crap preformance .... crap atmosphere ..... crap HT pie but we went through. thats all that matters. Cup footie aint meant to be pretty. its meant to be gritty and tough and a relife when you beat a championship team 1-0 with a dodgey own goal off the keeper i'd take anyone in the next round as long as we are at home what does everyone think of bolton "resting" anelka today??
  13. yeah i know what his talking about too..... i just thought this was an english speaking forum
  14. true but, as he is a complete legend i thought it would be nice to keep an eye out for him. i was happy he didn't get the england job (its a poison chalice is you ask me) and i would love to see him succeed once more at another club.... just not in europe ahead of us
  15. Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer would welcome Jose Mourinho as the next coach of his club when Ottmar Hitzfeld leaves in the summer. The former Chelsea boss is believed to be one of the leading candidates to assume control of the Bavarians, although the fact he does not speak German could rule him out of the running. However, Beckenbauer feels there is enough time for Mourinho to learn the language and be ready to take the reins in six months time. "He could do a language course between now and the summer, so why not?" Beckenbauer wrote in his column in Germany's Bild newspaper. Experience "Our club needs a big name. He has got to be a great tactician, have already accumulated experience and have command of the German language." One man who does have such a CV is Beckenbauer himself, who has already led Bayern and Germany to glory in the 1990s. However, the 62-year-old will not be putting forward his own candidacy this time. "The only person I can really rule out of the running is myself," added Beckenbauer. source = sky sports news
  16. Chelsea fear skipper John Terry could be ruled out for the rest of the season, according to reports. The England captain fractured three bones in his right foot in a challenge with Emmanuel Eboue during the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on 16th December. The club initially announced that the inspirational centre-back would need at least six weeks to recover from the setback, with the player setting his sights on a return to action in the middle of February. But reports in the national press indicate that the Stamford Bridge club are concerned that Terry's recovery could take longer than anticipated. The Blues skipper, who has been given a protective boot to wear to aid the healing process, is due to have his foot re-examined when he returns from holiday in Dubai. Avram Grant is already looking to bolster his defensive ranks during the January transfer window, with a move for Lokomotiv Moscow's Serbian international centre-half Branislav Ivanovic on the cards. source = sky sports news
  17. don't think it has any place on a forum like this
  18. i really think things like this have no place here. Talking about stabbing people isn't funny, clever or amusing
  19. i am going to sum this "debate" up in a few brief word..... Lamps can never be replaced! I would put him on a par with Zola. Ballack is a great player but his not Lamps
  20. i think both to be honest. what with ACON we need all the suppourt we can get. pizarro looks a poor buy (i know he was free but hey) we wil be missing drogba and kalou. Sheva, who i think will come good when his back, needs suppourt from another striker. 4-3-3 don't seem to work with sheva playing imo
  21. yeah totally! never nice to see him fail but watching Dirty Leeds get turned over 3-1 at home made me giggle
