I agree that this view is a short sighted view, in the long run, it may or not benefit them however. We can't certainly predict how he will do at Man United. However, we need to look at positive side of things. With the arrival of Mourinho, Mata has been on the bench due to him not fitting to Mourinho's style. What is the point of keeping a player that Mourinho does not need? Considering Mourinho will be here for a while (hopefully). Selling it to Man Utd would sound most reasonable since they are giving us the most offer. Keeping Mata would damage his international and overall career as a whole. If he is not sold now, his chance of being picked for Spain Squad at Brazil would be low. He needs game time. Farewell Mata, we love you.

My friend was saying this. I think selling Mata to Man Utd isnt a bad idea after all. Since we played Man Utd twice already, it aint going to affect us. With teams like Arsenal and City have yet to play United away, I think Mata would be very useful for Utd which may result in United win. This would enable us to overtake City and Arsenal. Just a thought.

I apologise about my comments regarding Nemanja Matic and the whole signing as a whole. It was more of a knee jerk reaction more than anything but here's hoping he is CFC legend in few years. My comments may of been out of order but many comments regarding Willian were extremely negative when he first signed. So far, he is one of our crucial midfielders.

As long as we don't sell him to Man Utd, it's all fine. Selling Mata and buying a quality striker is ideal so I am hoping it happens. We have better players in our squad than Mata, we don't frankly need him, unless we have to use him to replace injured players. Let's be honest, he wants to be a regular at the team and it would only make sense if we sold him to a club where he can play regularly. It's not Mourinho's fault that Mata can't adapt to his style.

I can surmise that we will dominate from now. Excellent play from Oscar and Willian. Willian has been a fantastic signing. Cant believe people doubted the lad.
