@Kojo, I see your point about this becoming a popularity contest, I posted something similar on page 2 and I see why you feel this way. Which is why I mentioned you, Bushman and for new member, The Flash. If you are on a community of people, it is bound to become a popularity contest. Take the example of my school. We have a 'class rep' vote every school year. I won it last year and my teacher said I was the best class rep he ever had. I attended all the meetings when I was the class rep (only person to do that). Yet did I win the award the next year as you would expect? No. Some other guy who is irresponsible and barely attended any meetings won it (by a huge margin). As a matter of fact, there was another girl who was also running for it and she was extremely responsibly as well but she also lost by a huge margin. If you are in a community of people, people are bound to vote for their friends. It works like that unfortunately. But I don't get your problem with the Pub. In recent months, I have been posting on the Pub quite a lot. It is IMO a brilliant thread. You are claiming that people who post regularly on the Pub don't deserve to win. Well first of all, few of the major Pub posters even get mentioned here. Tiwaz, Ankit, Sidzert, Stingray, RMPR, Hutcho (just to mention a few) are some of the regular Pub posters. I don't see any of them on this poll. When I joined this forum, I joined for Chelsea related information (i.e learning about Chelsea and sharing my opinion on Chelsea), but you can't just always talk about one topic. Sometimes you need some jokes, some fun. The reason people post these memes and jokes are just to have fun with their friends. For example, when you are with your friends, do you only talk about football? Of course not. Most of your discussion will be, but you always crack jokes and have fun. Nobody came here and just started posting on the Pub. We came here and while talking about Chelsea, we also talk about off-topic stuff. Why? For fun! Because of our friends here! In addition, the Pub is a brilliant thread since I've personally never ever seen a fight on the Pub. All the other threads have lot of arguing, insulting, bickering and complaining. The Pub is just fun. People talk about their lives and what they do. It's just peaceful discussion about events, personal issues and also jokes. I understand why you feel this way, but unfortunately it can't be fixed, but at the same time I don't understand what problem you have with the Pub. Oh yea and may I add something, (this not to Kojo but to other people) Why do people have a problem with memes because they claim "It slows down my internet"? Seriously, what kind of bullshit is that. Just block them if your internet is so slow. (wrote it really quickly, no spelling police please)
