  1. Please, I'm sure a signature of Jose Mourinho sitting on a seat at the Etihad will entice one to become a supporter of Manchester City.
  2. The Primeria Liga won't have done themselves any favours by potentially selling two (or three) of the highest regarded players in the league in Javi Garcia, Hulk and Axel Witsel. However, from a Chelsea perspective, Axel would be a fine addition to our squad in terms of fitting in alongside Mikel as our two holding midfield players - I'm sure the core of Belgium players in the Chelsea squad would attract him to the club.
  3. Cech Azpi - Ivanovic - Terry - A.Cole Mikel - Romeu Hazard - Mata - Oscar Sturridge
  4. I cannot contemplate the reasoning behind preferring Anders Lindegaard over David De Gea, who this season has been fantastic bar the one mistake against Fulham. From what I've heard, there has been no sign of an injury to the young Spaniard. Wayne Rooney is injured, so Robin Van Persie is the centre of a front trio alongside Danny Welbeck and Valencia.
  5. Clear signs of a club in decline when Henderson is your biggest threat from the bench.
  6. Didier Drogba's management company have dismissed claims that the Ivorian striker has been released by Shanghai Shenhua. A spokeswoman for the Sports PR Company, which represents Drogba in the UK, insisted reports the former Chelsea striker's career in China were over after two and a half months were "nonsense". She added that UEFA Champions League hero Drogba, who paid a visit to his old club's training ground this week, would return to Shanghai after the international break, which sees his Ivory Coast take on Senegal. As a result of such claims, we can only logically assume that Didier Drogba and Anelka are still at the club in which they both left Chelsea to play for.
  7. It would be foolish to write off Galatasaray, achieving a result in Turkey is very difficult. I expect the Cimbom to finish as the runners-up of group H behind Manchester United with Braga & CFR Cluj missing out. Group D promises several enticing encounters with the champions of England, Spain, Germany and Holland all forced into a single group. One would expect Real Madrid to come out on top, with the last place up for grabs being decided by either Manchester City or Dortmund. Group of death, most definitely. And finally, from a Chelsea perspective, there should be no struggle in reaching the knock-out rounds with a fairly easy-average group - Juventus should be the only side capable of harming us.
