At the start of the season, Oscar was playing really well and was giving no chance nor reason for Mourinho to play Mata. However, he has now had a big drop in quality (like many of our players) and Juan deserves a real chance, no doubt. However, we have way too many players in that position, so Mata wont have that much of a room to prove himself. I mean, he wont have 3-4 games to convince Jose, he will have 2 at the most... Personally, I would start him in both the West Ham and Steaua games, but if he doesnt respond well to it, then it is game over!

I think he deserves more playing time, our other AM's arent exactly lighting the world on fire right now, so it is not more than fair to give him a real chance!

I think it is time for him to retire, he is not half the player he once was (unfortunatelly) and he doesnt have more than this season left in him... At this moment, he is nothing more than an average player!

Hahaha, I always forget his name is Willian! Some people in Brazil like to name their children with popular english-based names, and William is one of them... However, his parents probably wanted to do something a little bit different and decided to put the "n" in the end. Since the sound of both letters are the same in Portuguese, Willian and William are exacrly the same name, only spelled differently. Due to the fact most people names are William and not Willian (which is pretty rare), I keep forgetting he is not William but rather Willian! I know it feels dumb not to know our own player's name, but I just keep forgetting his name is with a "n".

But this is what I dont understand...I have seen many English members on this forum bashing their NT and the hype of the media, almost everyone on TC doesnt like International Football, especially England. However, English fans were the most present crowd in the last 2 WCs (Germany and South Africa) and are expected to be the 3rd or 4th most present fans in Brazil (losing to USA and Argentina). I feel a huge level of indiference when I read your posts, but when I see the touristic/presence statistics it shows me otherwise. For me, it is a complete paradox between you not caring about the team and the great numbers and noise level your fans show in international competitions. How do you explain that?
