  1. Yes, Suarez will have to miss 9 competitive matches in a row. Be that in this World Cup, 2015 Copa America or the 2018 WC Qualifiers...
  2. I've heard he has been banned from 9 official matches. Only official ones!
  3. That's pathetic. Sometimes you just have to admit you are wrong and accept the consequences! If I were FIFA I would have banned Suarez for 6 months and 12 international matches...
  4. He will only get a 3 match ban from the world cup imo.
  5. It is not I secret I absolutely hate Diego Costa, everybody in here knows it! However, that has nothing to do with his quality. Otherwise I would also say Messi and Suarez are shit just because I despise them... The fact you are resorting to those kind of defensive comments just shows you arent intelligent enough to give me decent footballing reasons as to why Diego Costa is better than Benzema. For instance, can Diego finish in so many different ways like Benzema did against Switzerland (a top seeded team)? Can he link up like Benzema does? Can he stand the pressure of having to win week-in and week-out? Sorry, but those are all questions Diego Costa still has to answer. While we already know Benzema has done it before for more than one season!
  6. Ridiculous is you using my nationality in order to question my judgment!
  7. I am hoping Real goes for Suarez so we can try to sign Benzema! He is not my ideal striker, but he is way better than Diego Costa...
  8. So, in two years, Barcelona went from having Xavi, Thiago and Fabregas to having none! Mes que un club my ass!
  9. Time to turn off the playstation!
  10. Australian CNN has just confirmed it as well!

  12. Dont we already have a thread for that?
  13. 1. When I was little I always wanted to know why every Brazilian player went to European clubs and why they were considered so much better. So I did some research and so on. However, I was never amused by the likes of Barcelona, Real, Milan (my dad is a Milan fan), Inte, Manure, etc. When I saw on a sports program that a Russian billionaire had bought a relativity small club from London and was planning to sign big stars (at the time I didnt have access to the European competitions), I went on the internet to learn more about that weird team called Chelsea FC and absolutely felt connected with it. I dont know how to explain, but the club's history and culture (fans, stadium, vibe, former players, etc) felt just right. I felt like I had found a new Palmeiras. But that doesnt make you a supporter (imo)! It was only after I insisted to my parents to sign up for ESPN (it was notarticularly because of Chelsea, but still) that I started watching a few games in 2003/2004 and I caught myself really rooting for The Blues and from that day on I considered myself a fan. I also really like the digs/hate CFC always get from the media and other fans, it makes us look like bad boys, lol. Since then, the EPL and UCL coverage in Brazil has gone tremendously high, up to the point where 7/10 EPL matches and almost all UCL fixtures are live on cable TV. It has definitely helped a lot of people to get to know the league and the clubs in it better than when I was a kid. Brazilians (specially the younger folks) love the way football is played in Europe. Everything from the pace, organization, quality, refereeing, etc. Many kids have their Brazilian club and a second European one now! Nowadays, I very rarely miss a game and I am always reading about Chelsea in some way, shape or form! 2. I think I have answered it a bit in when answering your first question, but let's improve it a litte... We are a big club that was never really acustomed to success before. This resulted into a beautiful combination. Somewhat of a hybrid between a worldwide club land a medium to small one. We kind of have the best of both worlds! If you look carefully, this is reflected into every aspect of Chelsea. It's everywhere: fans, players, board, etc. However, Stamford Bridge is where it gets more clear. The venue has every single piece of tecnology a modern stadium needs; high end hospitaloty facilities, amazing dressing rooms, impecable pitch, big TV screens, nice surround sound, a museum with a mega store, etc. Yet, it feels like and old traditional stadium! It is in the heart of the city, it feels tight and quite old (in a good sense, of course) and it kept the feel you have when you see videos of the 70-80s. It trully is interesting when you analyse it! And like I said, this is common to a lot of things about The Blues after Roman. We clearly are a big European club when you compare infra-structure, money, talent, media attention, etc. Nevertheless, when you look deep at our culture and fans and compare it to the likes of ManUtd, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real, Bayern, etc., you will find something very different. You will find a good old traditional English mentality! I love this kind of parodxical feel. It makes us unique and special, imo! 3. Yes, of course! I have my Facebokk page posted in here somewhere if you want to add me or you can also PM me at any time...
  14. I dont know! When are you coming to visit me here in Brazil?
  15. 1. Please dude, no lies. I steamrolled you on FIFA so many times that I lost count! 2. Read people's mind. Imagine knowing everyone's secrets, desires, goals, etc. Damn. It'd be rodiculously amazing! 3. I mainly listen to Rock and/or EDM. But I enjoy many types of music. Because of that it is very hard to tell you who are my favourite artists/bands. But I love two Brazilians bands called "O Rappa" and "Charlie Brown Jr". In English I like Bon Jovi, Metalica,, Pink Floyd, Oasis, RHCP, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Imagine Dragons, etc! This is a very hard question, I like way too many different bands, lol! 4. USA, no doubt. I like how you guys live. Everything is so pratical and easy! I love how organized and safe the cities are (compared to Brazil). Also, I've lived 2 years in Naperville, IL. So I am already acustumed to your culture, language, routine, etc. 5. No one really...I mean, I enjoy watching any football match that is on TV. But I dont support (nor like) any team other than Chelsea and Palmeiras. 6. Lampard, Terry, Hazard, Oscar and Cech!
  16. For 3 weeks Real had nothing to play for! They lost La Liga way back when Barcelona beat them 4-3... I just find it amazing how you cant even accept when you are wrong. Quite funny tbh! KING CARLO RULEZ!
  17. What do you think about Real Madrid now? Are they chockers? Is PSG better?
  18. PSG with a big LOL to UEFA and all those people who think FFP is anything but a way Platini created to collect money and leave the already stablished clubs happy...
  19. (A) I will have to say Alex so I dont face the hammer! But I love reading Skipper's posts. ( B ) Stingray and Spike, but they dont post 10% of they used to! EDIT: I heard you were a really good poster yourself. Such a shame I wasnt here when you used to post more...
  20. LOOL! So you guys do miss my aviator! As a true Brazilian, I have a thing for flip-flops and sunglasses. I own 10+ pairs of flip-flops, of all kinds and prices. I have all the way to a pair signed by Derf (a famous graffiti writer) to the one I use everyday and costs 10 reais (3 pounds). The same goes to sunglasses. I own 21 of them (I counted it just to post the exact number, lmao). But sunglasses I try only to buy originals ones because of the lens and everything. Btw, the ones on that photo are Tom Ford and not Ray-Ban!
  21. Oh my god! How many times do people have to ask me this question? It is just the initials of each of my names...
  22. Wife: Scarlett Johanson! Do I need to explain it further? Job: Leader of engine design in one of the major automobilistic joints! It involves three things I consider myself very good at: calculous, creativity and time and budget management.
  23. That depends... Pele had the most successful career of any player who has ever lived. That is unquestionable in my opinion. I dont think anyone will come close to the impact he had (both nationally and worldwide). However, if I had to choose the player which I think was the most talented of all time, that would be Garrincha. I dont even have the worlds to describe how orgasmic he was! Also, I liked him as a person. Whereas I absolutely despise Pele...
