  1. When I saw the title I thought it was a reference to Bindipper Michael Shields smashing a paving slab on the head of that Bulgarian Waiter LDN with all respect what were you drinking ? Whiskey with water from the Mersey ? You'll Never Walk Alone juice ? I'm not sure Andy carroll is good enough to sustain an England spot -definitely dont think he's good enough for us. We have enough England Internationals, and I'm sure we will pick up replacements as they come to the end of their careers. Full retraction of your red tinted views expected when you've sobered up
  2. My view on it is he was offered shed loads of cash, took the job, and pretended he was interested in what he was doing. Now he's getting paid by 442 to say so. Bit like Capello....
  3. Definitely worth a punt for next season as top scorer 7/1
  4. This should cheer Zolayes and others up a bit LOTS OF SIGNINGS Hiddink coming, Zola as assistant manager, Neymar, Lukaku and Van der Wiel to sign, plus we're trying to get Kaka on loan.   and Boswinga on his way out........
  5. To be fair he's hardly going to say he's over the hill Unfortunately age gets us all, and I hope he's not an embarassment next season. To my mind they should wheel him out for the big games, he can still contribute massively, but the England game showed us either a) his best days are gone or b ) Capello is right and they were just knackered
  6. HE'S WELSH, HE'S RED, HE'S IN HIS BROTHERS BED--RYAN GIGGS, RYANGIGGS
  7. On the positive though its not a bad start to your CV ''Chelsea FC Reserves'' and they invariably go on to make a lucrative living somewhere else.....
  8. Generally a white elephant at the moment, but it doesnt dent Romans wallet. Its still a source of revenue in terms of loan deals and sell offs, it serves a dual pupose of state of the art training facilities for the first team. The concept and potential of someone breaking through is there -and theres nothing to say some wont in the future, but generally its lot of window dressing, that can fulfil the looming homegrown laws in the future.
  9. Gourlay decided we had no history, loaned it out to Wigan
  10. Not sure we can even expect that Zolayes. Our board work for a business first -its a football club second. If your business can afford to headhunt the best , say salespeople, thats what it will do to get the best revenue, rather than gambol on some ''potential rookies''. Thats the reality of it -points means prizes, and prizes means revenue in terms of Chinese, Indain replica shirts, TV revenue whatever. People need to get their heads round this, there is no romance of the Youth coming through, unless they're absolutely ,absofuckinlutely top notch. Why slave away in the kitchen when you can order the best takeaways ?
  11. Cant blame Arnesen really, he spotted potentials and our board wants ready meals rather than cooking in the kitchen. That said -they will look better at Hamburg than SW6
  12. Lol yes mate. In fairness they should have some of the proper Chels history -Greenway photos, 'You can't ban a Chelsea Fan' framed T shirt, Plans for the Electric Fence, Headhunter Calling cards :eyebrows:
  13. Well its looking like Gus then -just our luck because of his age he does a Houllier and has a heart attack ....
  14. New one just opened Lookin'good They could have a few modern exhibits though like a Damian Hirst ''AvramGrant preserved in a tank full of formaldehyde''
  15. If true it puts JTs shenanigans in perspective. Fucking your brothers wife for eight years behind his back ??? yeah '''wholsome, family man Giggs'' No wonder the hairy cunt is so beady eyed. S'pose next week it'll come out he's been bumming ginga Scholes as well.....
  16. Think you're right. The important thing is the players back who ever is there -they know Hiddink and respect him, and Hughes has such a reputation amongst the Chels faithful that he'd motivate -he got the best out of Bellamy, takes no prisoners...
  17. All teh United fans I talk to -thats only ones that go to games by the way -reckon they will get Mourinho
  18. Agree with Dixon -Hughes changed our history when he came on at half time v Liverpool in 97 when we were 2 down. Its time to take a chance on the best of British...or Hiddink
  19. Thing is, no one knows the extent of his input so its largely guesswork. You suspect that Shevchenko and Torres were his fantasy football ideas -but his israeli billionaire super agent mate Pini Zahavi probably nudges him now and then -and why not when you're on 10% commision ?
  20. He may have left Fulham because Villa approached him or Ron Gourlay -its all speculation. If the media are to be beleived it was the suits that pushed him out of the Wales job. I dont think United would want him to be honest - and theres no way he'd leave Chelsea for United if it came to it. just cant see it. As I said the main criteria for the new coach is an element of respect from the squad, and the ability to motivate. Hopefully Hiddink will accept......
  21. More likely the 'advisors' hanging round, and a certain Mr Gourlay, anyway he's a saint compared to the parasitical Glazer clan....
  22. Carlo 9/2 for Villa job We could do a lot worse than Hughes -knows thePrem inside out, why keep going for managers that have won the CL ? Doesnt mean they will win it again. Also Hughes was a Chelsea fan when he was a kid, and a great servant to the club
  23. :goodpost: Was going to say no one should give a shit what he said -but quoting him above the changing room door = top idea
