RDM just confirmed that he wont play

Giving him a few minutes in the end wouldnt hurt. And i dont expect Mata or Hazard to play full 90 minutes.

By the looks of this video he looked solid. He showed some good movments and had good controll of the ball and passing.

RDM has played almost all of the games with us with a 4-2-3-1 formation and i think he sees it as our best formation. He just tried some other formations during the pre season.

Having a good and nice looking site is important for our club, but having the best and nicest looking site isnt something i really care about. Weve got more important things to care about

You cant just split games between goalkeepers...And about Cech, ive heard that his condition (being born a triplet) is making his body weaker than regular bodies and therefor he will have to retire sooner than regular goalkeepers. Not sure about this though,

The only players i think are more suited for a 4-3-3 formation are Ramires and Lampard and i dont think we should change formation just so it suits those 2.

I hope he makes a great impression. I dont want to see any more 4-6-0 formations from their side!

They played more like a 4-4-1-1 today. Based on my view of the game that doesnt suit them, atleast not Oscar. He needs to play central, both in the NT and here.

He played most of the game as a right winger, and i thought he played really good. I would prefer him over Ramries there.

Yeah. He has taken the big step up to the first team for real now. I think Ashley should be glad about that. He will get the rest that he needs this season.

He played as a left winger today. I think that disapointed about that. He clearly should be the offensive midfielder in Belgium.

I watched the whole time he played. I think he did really good. Really used his strenght to disturb the defenders. And about his first touches (i know some people find this topic intresting) they where good. His first "first touch" in the game was awful but after that he got calmed and did great imo.

I havent seen so much of the game but it looks like Ramires aint doing much noise of himself. How has he been?

People, dont forget that the Brazilian league, which oscar would play in if he had not moved to us, is in mid season now. Oscar has already had his rest and playing many games is something he is used to as they play alot of games in Brazil

What Wigan are thinking right now:

If Ramires gets some time tomorrow on the pitch against Sweden he will probably play as the 2 DMs in a 4-2-3-1 formation. That way we can get a impression of him on that position.

Lets see how Mikel does against Wigan. Then we can make further decisions.

Seriously, whats up with this Piazon talk. People act like hes the new Messi or something. I dont think he is any way near our first team and i seriously would have Gael Kakuta on our bench then him. Atleast Kakuta has some first team experience.

Yeah, that would be fantastic. But is it really that "easy" to just sneak in a buy-back clause. Well, we should atleast get a dips on him.

I dont think we should bash him to much for his second half. He was pushed to far to the left and it just didnt suit him. Ive seen some people position him as a left midfielder in a 4-4-1-1 formation and his second half showed that its wrong. He need to stay higher uo the pitch and have more room to cut inside. otherwise he will get lost in the game.
