The price we paid for Torres is actually something i dont even think of anymore and its not something that has a part of my critisism on him. We paid what we paid and theres nothing we can do. Torres has never been worth that much but thats the price you have to pay if you buy a top player from a rival club.My critisims on him and my point of having to get a replacement would be the same even if we got him for 100million or 1 million.

Then why do we even buy new players and improve our squad. Why dont we just keep supporting our old players? I mean people have been moaning about Ivanovic on the right back position and we got Azpi. People also brag about Mikel. Personally i think both these players does OK on those position but the reason people moan on them is because they want a perfect squad.Thats why i cant understand why everyone seems to be so calm about Torres and our striker postition, the position which i think is the one that really needs an improvment and is defently imore important than a new right back.

Just saw van Persies goal against Fulham and it just hit me that thats the kind of striker that we need. Someone who can score out of nothing. Torres has just lost all his striker insticts to score goals like that. Its someone who can score goals like that who will win us close games against top teams.

This is also a thing that is bugging me because i get the feeling that Torres will "waste" some of the intelligence weve got in the team. What i mean is, for example, that if Torres scores maybe 10 goals this season thanks to them another striker would score maybe 15. I just think he lacks the striker instics of being at the right place at the right time and so on. And im not really talking about some one with a 35 million price tag like Cavani. I think that someone like Cisse from Newcastle would be a great improvment for us, someone that likes to score for fun.

Ive seen so much shit talk about players like Boswinga, Malouda and Kalou but never seen some one stand up for them like you (and some other) do for Torres.

Drogba was pretty young, was new to the country, league, language and everything. He deserved a chance. Torres is 28. He know the language, the league, he has been dubbed as one of the best strikers in the world and still cant cut it after staying here in almost 2 seasons.

But what is a assist. Its a pass which a another player convert into a goal. But what happends if the player doesnt convert that ball into a goal, well then it isnt an assist. Thats what torres is doing right now. It has always been the teams fault that torres doesnt do good in games. But now when the team is playing good and torres still isnt, whose fault is it?

Drogba finished his fantastic time with us as a legend and moved on. Maybe its time for Torres to do the same. He isnt really getting any younger.Seriously, ive been a huge Torres fan and ive supported him all the way from the start, but there is a time when we have to open our eyes and see the reality. It also pisses me off how we are so patient with torres but cut off our youngsters without giving them a fair chance.

Im not really talking about Torres last 2 league games. Im talking about his last 2 seasons with us, which he has never convinced me that he is going to be a good goalscoring striker for us.

So you are telling me that Drogba wasnt benched during some parts of our last season. Then why does he only have 24 PL apps while Torres had 32?

When Drogba played bad we benched him. Time to do the same with Torres.

We dont need assists, we need goals!!! We need some one that can smash that god damn ball into the goal when some one like Hazard get the ball into the box. JUST BAAAAAM INTO THE GOAL!!!! I dont know what Torres does when he gets the ball in the box but its anything but that.

And it will cost us our titles. I cant see Torres stepping up in those really big and important games like Dider Drogba did. We need someone like him.

We need a new striker. Say what ever you want but thats what we need. If Torres is invinsible against teams like Reading, how do you think he will stand against teams like Newcastle which we are playing against in a few days. Games where well have the ball as much and not having as many goal chances as today. We need someone fresh and some one with a striker instinct that can put those god damn ball that come into the box into the goal. And dont come with the "he should have scored 2 goals if it wasnt for Ramires" talk. I could even score at those chances.
