The Insane Reaction To Jose's Sacking Has To Stop!
Stingray replied to CHOULO19's topic in Chelsea Articles
Well, mass hysteria is a strange thing, but it is oh so easy to fabricate. Group compliance is one of the easiest things to fabricate tbh. Check Solomon Asch, the authority on the subject : Also: this stuff has been replicaties time and time again. Also: you have a nobel prize winner that claims an identical point: Elias Canetti with his book : Masse und Macht. I do not know the english titel tough. Conclusion: in emotional situations groups are a very, very scary thing ...... -
But that is quite the catch22. If we lose its because the players are the shit ones, if we win it is because they wanted Mou out. Either way, Mou wins and the players lose. Im betting on another thing: Mou knew he was getting the sack soon and injected the 'traitors' story. That way, he could never lose in the opinion of fans. If they sack him, he wins . If he already knew he would be sacked: double win because then its the players. If his head wasn't on the chopping board already, he secured what might happen anyway. Clever, clever, psychopath Mou. Nicely done, communication wise.

Ah, such good news in these dire times. There seems to be so much leadership in him.

Well put Charmoutah. Glad rationality is still among us fans. -
Yes, because it is pure conjecture. Not fact. It may well be true, but you don't know that. Hence: if it is mere conjecture, commit it to the flames. Source: David Hume, one of britains greatest philosophers.

Really? Again? You should know enough about me by now to know im a Chels. You cannot deny Eden has been a star in this team. This is past fanboy stuff. Eden may just be the best natural talent we have seen in a decade. That is why I recognise and defend his talent. I know I have the same flag, but that doesnt really fly. In the NT I think he is shite and KDB rocks it. Now your turn, DDA.

And just how do you know this to be true? You've all be Daily Mailed quite well in my opinion. This looks like an opinion board for a reality show tbh.

Cringe, cringe, cringe ....

But to go back to the topic: I can write a lengthy month review. Just like Chelsea Brasil does. I dont need to get payed. Let me know if u find it a good idea... Yes, you should write at length like an americans campaign in the middle east, lengthy but futile in the end ......
-
Still, your post doesnt really scream: I LOVE CHELSEA. It says Eden should chose more wisely for his own development. Hence: focal point being Edens self interest - not the clubs focal point.

And he fired of a bunker buster to destroy the final shred remaining of the moral of the radicalized opponents fans!

Indeed. Great post as always Peace.

Well, its pretty clear here for a very long time since Belgium had its own camps (deportation and working camps like Fort Breendonk) plus a history of collaboration with the Nazi's, that we penalised negationism. The Regine Beer Musuem - Regine who was transported to Auschwitz and made a story about her time there - in Antwerp even got European museum of the year, contributed - quite rightly so. We have enough holocaust deniers in France, Belgium, .... So he might have been punished very severly, but statements about the holocaust being fantasy are very much looked down upon here.

The combination of both being hypocrite - supporting Saudi Arabia's policies, arming religious groups for geo-political purposes, destabilizing regions under false pretense - and being too meek on our own hard won values during the slip stream of the Enlightenment let us far astray. As Sir Karl Popper said in the Open Society and its enemies in 1949: Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. That said: our very dubious position with certain regimes (eg: FN weapon factories in Belgium provide a LOT of Saudi Weaponry that falls into the hands of extremists) and our mistreatment of the entire middle east region for our own advantage (see 1928 in which we openly supported the brotherhood of Islam for political reasons or even how we treat Salafist countries with oil) our misguided actions which make us look like fools when intervening in the middle east (eg. training and arming religious elements during the cold war) or even the joke that was the invasion of some of those countries (because of non existent weapons of mass destruction). I don't see how the middle east can take us seriously as a possible partner against this extremism tbh. We are fucking up for a while now. Now we have a real enemy for every thing we (not our politicians) believed in. No intervention based on geo-politics can cure this. It is exactly the disease. If we do not include even the parties involved (eg: the latest Syria convention doesn't even have ONE Syrian in it), if we do not listen to the non salafist or Sjiah muslims in this debate, or if we go into a full blown us aganst them mode - we are lost. But whatever we do now.... tolerance cannot and should not be destroyed. Otherwise the open society as we know it, will be destroyed.

Wut??? Do you even wut?

What else is there to do. We should have done it much, much sooner. Especially for the Syrians.
-
Hey mate, a question that lives here is about how many parties are fighting in Syria right now and how in the hell can this be solved. I might be be dead wrong, so that is why I ask. Ugh. There should have been an intervention years ago imo.
