  1. Yes, i said no comment because here context comes into play 1. First year Bundesliga versus homegrown 2. The relative position of the teams 3. The relative quality of teammates - Bremen sucked at times ..... 4. It doesn't reflect how much impact the player had. KDB is seen as having held Bremen in the Bundesliga .... An anchor point. So yes, i love sience and data. But they are shit without context. Edit : i see 11 goals and 7 for Schurrle with one game more - in a better team.
  2. Nice input. Who IS the bigger risk - KDB /Schurrle . Beware only one year age difference - pretty much the same experience level. Stats .... No comment.
  3. Well, 1. Factual he IS a workhorse - not a tackler but a workhorse. 2. His best position has always been on the wing. It is not untill recently he is evolving as a cm/amc. 3. His tenacity, physicality and the fact he has been decisive in the 4 of the last 5 games (Hazard in 1) cannot be ignored. These are qualifying games, not only friendlies. So yes .... The validation of his ability on the wing is 'empirical'. Your statement that he cannot cut it on the wing in the EPL is 'conjecture'. If there is a position he has not validated enough ... It is CM. Ps: if you love the belgian NT - he was by far the best player this season - on the flank.
  4. Yes .... Because bundesliga and the teams the NT plays against with him in that role (Croztia) are feeble pussies Nah mate, that is conjecture. He is a very firm workhorse (most ran miles also in thr Bundesliga this year).
  5. Ow but he can. Before Mario Been came in his final year at Genk he was a full blooded right winger. Personally, because of his crosses and cutting inside it is his best spot (now hes transforming into a CM- thanks to that same Mario Been). Also, just check his goals and assists - almost all of them from the right flank. He would ROCK our right flank.
  6. As such last reports from the belgian papers are an explicit rebuttal of the rumours, where his agent explicitly claims there is nothing decided yet. There was a question on his availibility but all They do now is await further comments from the future manager. They do insist to stop the rumours that this decision comes swiftly. So .... Its up to Mou indeed.
  7. Why isn't he what we need? I've seen very little of him, but on paper he seems to be exactly what we need On paper. Indeed.
  8. Are we actually arguing if Chelsea should have depth or not? I mean IF the rumors are true and we give KdB on loan to Leverkusen(CL football)and get Schürrle, then we'd have 2 great players, 2 different players in our disposal for 2014/15 season. I hope KDB and his agents are smart about this, a season with regular football in Bundesliga plus CL will be the smartest thing to do in order claim his spot in Belgium's World Cup team. Of course! And the fact that our Belgian loanees - Lukaku, dr Bruyne and Courtois, all hit the waves and were very successful with their loan spells shows that Chelsea made the right call to send them on loan and to right places. Better than being on the bench. We could argue if they could have done better at Chelsea than some players who stayed here but that's not important anymore. That's all theory and we'll never know the truth. Fact is the trio is developing fast and we'll face a fight to keep them. Their loans worked brilliantly. I do not dispute that. Also, we do need depth - thats exactly why i think it is unwise to loan kdb out again (and Lukaku). Also, coming in here i believe he would get enough playing time and already a year in the epl + cl. Double win. I fail to see why loaning him out is so rational. He is ready now to compete for a spot in terms of quality. In terms of age - Schurrle is only a year older and does not bring more experience. In pure playing time - even less than kdb.
  9. The same counts for Kdb. Ow and we already own him.
  10. And there we go ....' After KDB, Lukaku. Courtois will probably follow.
  11. The debate is about loaning out one player to a team in exchange for another that s arguable not as good nor as promising. It is still ok to voice an opinion here, yes? So dont go all drama and hyperbole.
  12. If its Hazard its being biased, Lukaku - being the belgian fanboy - Courtois idem, now we are brown nosers for believing in KDB (whom some of us have seen playing for years). I find that kinda offensive. Nice. Appropriateness does not auto apply apparently.
  13. I agree. Kdb is better than Moses and Schurrle + gives us more options + provides us also with someone who speeds up build up play from a CM position. This is something we lack incredibly. So no!! Its not about impatience or anything. We are redundantly loaning out someno we already have and that WILL get playtime next year. Also .... We are toying with him for what? To ge Schurrle? Come off it ....
  14. I don't see it. I really don't. Squad player yes, worth all the fuss, money and perhaps losing KDB. Never in a million years.
  15. It is bad, bad leadership. It will come back to hunt us and bite us in the ass longterm.
  16. I do wonder if our Manilla Brawler gangsta is gonna return
  17. He will stay, i reckon. Mourinho will take the right decision!
