It is a team sport, just do your best and the coach will pick you when you are needed. It is ridiculous everything.. And I don´t agree that we don´t NEED him, because there WILL be games where Oscar, Willian or even Hazard can´t do anything to help the team to score. People have to understand that his technique will be better against other opponent than say last game at Southampton.

I´ve been thinking about Ramires injury, wouldn´t Mikel and Luiz work pretty well together against Tottenham? Or is it to big risk to take? Maybe that´s why Jose tried him there yesterday.

I think everyone in here knows the story about Torres last two years in this club, so there is no point to bring it up everytime don´t you think? Thing is that, if you watched the game, you could see that he actually did everything Mourinho want´s in his team. He tracked back when he/team lost ball. He ran everywhere and made himself available several times.. He did the same against Bayern. Doesn´t that deserve a chance to start against Tottenham, to be fair?

The fact remains still that Torres has two more goals than Etoo in lesser games played (Correct me if I´m wrong here). I´m not saying that Etoo isn´t a better player than Torres, but at the moment, one of our strikers actually score. Use him instead of someone who hasn´t. But you are probably right, he will go with Etoo since he is his first choice.

You have a point here, but as Mourinho said earlier about Mata, the past isn´t interesting. If Torres played and fought (and even scored) for the team against Bayern and Swindon, then they should start him against Tottenham. It´s simple as that.

To be honest. I just can´t see Mata stay in Chelsea past next summer transfer. It feels like Mourinho decided before he took over Chelsea job who his nr 10 player is going to be. Now you may be asking why we didn´t sell Mata this summer, and I think that is because it would destroy all the good feeling that Mourinhos great comeback as manager for Chelsea would bring. And to actually sell our best player the last two years would make every fan go crazy. I suspect that the board decided to ride out this bullshit about him, that he suddenly isn´t good enough to play as nr 10 role, until next summer.

What is Mourinhos problem anyway. It seems like lately he has been in conflicts with several players (think real madrid). Sorry but I actually value Mata higher than Mourinho.
