They have according to sky, I assume they are getting the info from someone at CFC
-
I can't believe this. First Chelsea tell us it will be this Monday, then it would be Monday or Tuesday, then it would be today Wednesday, now they say it's likely to be Thursday FFS Do they really know WTF is going on.
-
Sky Sports. Lamps with be appointed as Chelsea manager in the next 48 hours
-
So that's Maka and JT that endorse Lamps as manager, that's good enough for me
-
I was really expecting it announced today and him being confirmed tomorrow. But still we fuck about
-
Exactly mate, if he thinks that he is going to walk into the Bayern first team, he needs to have someone sit down with him and explain the facts of life.
-
I think he wants assurances that he'll be in the starting line up. And he wont know that until Lamps is in place.
-
Why on earth do they play this game there then, fucking unbelievable. Two weeks away and we aint even got a manager in place yet
-
Don't panic, he'll be here next week for pre-season training. And all this pessimism on here about ppl don't think he's going to do well. it's too early etc, ffs give me a break. Me i'm really excited by Frank coming in as manager, his tactics, the introduction of youth, the back room staff, and all hopefully for a better future. I'm not expecting to much from the coming season, I don't think we can challenge for a top four spot, but the worst I would hope for is 6th, a decent run in the domestic cups maybe even win one, and to progress out of the group stage of the ECL Probably won't satisfy the doom mongers, but it'll work for me. This is all about laying the ground work, for a stable and better future. KTBFFH

Sky Sports Bristol City sign Jay Dasilva on a four year contract
-
Absolute bullshit We need him, and he needs us, make it happen number one. Taken from Sky Sports. Roberto Di Matteo says it is not too soon for Frank Lampard to become Chelsea manager because he has all the tools needed to succeed in the role.
-
And the Japanese Messi Takefusa Kubo
-
For fuck sake let's leave off with the what if, what if. Folks here are still banging on about if Lamps is appointed he won't do this and he won't do that. Let's see if he's appointed first, then if he is get behind him, and stop this fucking he won't do this he won't do that, and that goes for Wisey too.
-
Me i'm I want him here,he'll do his best with what is on hand. There are sinister ppl around who would like to see him fail if he is appointed just to make them feel good that they were right.
-
He's ready now buddy
-
Mana this is just the sort of negative feed back i'm talking about, what Lamps can't do because of this what Lamps can't do because of that. If you don't know by now we need Lamps here, then sadly you never will. And that goes for all the other doubters as well, probably going to take flak for that comment but I don't care
-
I'm so excited by this. Been reading on here why this manager would be good and why that manager would be bad, it's been laughable. Lamps for me is top of the list, love the guy, if he does well or he doesn't whatever that means, just give him time he'll come through. Welcome home Frank
-
And just been reading allegedly the heirarchy are trying to get him to stay. Yet another fucking mess, said it many times we lurch for one fuck up to another, time after time.
-
LOL i love your assessment of Jokanovic as a player Mind you your assessment all round seems bang on.
-
Been thinking would he had gone to Real if Zidane wasn't the manager? I mean the touting cunts had to go grovelling to Zidane, begging him to go back.
-
I think we need to get a manager first, before we start picking teams.

From the Guardian: Eden Hazard is set to join Real Madrid after the Spanish club and Chelsea agreed a fee in the region of €100m (£88.5m) plus add-ons. Hazard said after Chelsea won the Europa League final against Arsenal that “I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know”. At that point Real and Chelsea had not agreed on a fee but on Wednesday night they did with the announcement set to follow in the next few days. The two clubs are now preparing the contracts to be signed. The 28-year-old Belgian will leave Stamford Bridge after seven hugely successful years at the club, winning the Premier League twice, one FA Cup and two Europa League titles. The Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, who is also expected to depart, said after the game against Arsenal that he had known about Hazard’s desire to leave for some time. “As you know, Hazard is a wonderful player, but you have to spend two or three months to understand him as a man,” he said. “But when you are able to understand him as a man, he’s a wonderful man. I knew Eden wanted to leave. But I wanted to respect his decision.” Hazard had one year left on his contract and ruled out joining another English club in the buildup to the Europa League final, saying: “No chance, no chance. I am a Blue. It means a lot to me. I cannot play for another club in this country.” Real Madrid are rebuilding their squad after a disappointing campaign in which they finished third in La Liga, 19 points behind Barcelona, having endured 12 defeats. They were also eliminated from the Champions League by Ajax in the last 16, 5-3 on aggregate after a 4-1 home defeat. Julen Lopetegui started the season as Real manager but was sacked on 29 October and replaced by the caretaker Santiago Solari. Zinedine Zidane was then rehired as manager on 11 March and the club have already signed the defender Éder Militão from Porto for £44m and the striker Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt for £57.7m.

From Football London. Hazard talks collapse Chelsea’s talks with Real Madrid about Eden Hazard have reportedly collapsed after the two parties refused to budge on their valuation of the player. Real Madrid chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez was in London to meet the Chelsea chiefs in a bid to complete a move on Monday, but he has now left the city with no compromise being reached, according to the Standard. Chelsea still want over £100m for Hazard, but Real are refusing to pay more than €100m - a price difference of over £12m. Real completed a deal for striker Luka Jovic on Tuesday, and are still confident of securing a deal for Hazard this summer, but he could fall down the list of priorities with Zinedine Zidane also keen to bring Manchester United star Paul Pogba to the Bernabeu.

I though t I see a mention of that, thought I misread it. Fucking hell they've really pulled all the stops out £40M what will that get them? drinkwater maybe
-
That and the 100,00 a week i see quoted should keep him here
