No need to get so defensive, someone asked the question wether Hazards assists/goals would be higher in the middle, witch his last season at Lille shows to be true. That doesnt mean we think he should be positioned there permanently at the expense of Oscar. Although i think its certainly a possibility with Mata gone. Who do you think we should put there if Oscar gets injured or suspended? Surely the defensive contributions Eden's added to his game recently wouldnt just vanish? The last game in EL Eden played there, he was actually very good imo. eden has stated in the past he considers it his best position, though offcourse even his own opinion on this might have changed...

Iirc he played in the middle during his last half season at Lille, and his stats were significantly higher during that period. I think he also played one or two games there under Rafa, in EL i think it was.

Ffs, beeing anti Israel is not comparable to beeing racist or fascist at all. the problem is the Israeli state has been using the term "anti semitic" as a get out of jail for free card. zionism was only founded about 100 years ago, and was funded by the notorious Rothschild family, who have a tranglehold over the worlds financial system witch is bordering on the criminal. israel has been commiting one war crime after another since its creation, and has been crying "anti semite" at everyone who dares criticizing their policies. the Mossad were involved in several false flag events, 9/11 beeing the most notorious. i admire celebreties and athletes who still have the guts to speak out against things like these. back in the 60s and 70s, you had Martin Luther King, Muhamad Ali, John Lennon, JFK etc.. people who stuck their neck out for what they believed in. people actually still went to demonstrations. nowadays people are so desensitized they dont care anymore if their tax money is beeing used to bomb innocent children in some far away country, or that their government is taking away their rights and is evesdropping on everything they say. They much rather watch what shoes Kim Kardashian is buying or whats happening in Neighbours. i'll shut up about it now, i just had to vent as all the sensoring thats been happening lately with our players (and ex players) is really getting on my nerves Sigh...

Ah, sorry man, i havent read the entire thread.

Afaik the guy refused to shake an Israeli players hand, because he was against an action of the Israeli state. That does not equal anti-semitism. in fact many Jews are against the state of Israel aswell. i suppose they are anti semitic too? Google "jews against zionism" for a good read on the subject.http://whatreallyhappened.com/IMAGES/jaz_full.jpg

This. it's ridiculous how the anti semetism thing is beeing used the shield the zionists from any criticism at all nowadays. Meanwhile Israel has become a fascist state themselves and the "democratic" countries of the world are funding their crimes. anyone who critisizes them is immediately attacked by the media. remember when Hazard supposedly signed that petition? Its worth noting that there are many Jewish organisations who are against the existence of their own state..

PSG are offering 40 mil € + A guy called Lucas according to Belgian media.

Remember how we got robbed last season with the two red cards and the offside goal? Time for payback! If we win this it'll be an immense blow to their morale and even getting back in top 4 would seem unlikely for them at that point.
-
Fair enough, i havent been keeing track accurately. Still think he's getting fouled too much though...
-
i'm not talking about yesterdays possible penalty but rather the penalties he shouldve had over the season so far. i remember last season he got several in his first month...
-
I know it's the EPL and all that, but looking at the penalties he's been denied recently, plus the bruise he got under his eye yesterday, i really feel he should be protected a little more by the refs.

The problem with Wilmots and Borkelmans is not so much that theyre going to be our coaches in Brazil. most people would argue that theyve earned that. what bothers me is that it looks like they'll get new contracts before they the tournament starts and we'll be stuck with them for the next campaign aswell. EDIT: this discussion should probably be moved to the NT thread though.

januzai has nothing to do with Belgium or its nt. he only holds the nationality so he can play in England.

Do you remember back in the 90's when Eendracht Aalst managed to qualify for uefa cup i think it was? well, i knew their psychologist personally. He was the one who got De Bilde to perform the way he did back then. Anyway, i used to box at that time so he proposed to try some stuff with me. Basically he had a technique to program peoples subconsious for consistent top performances. The results were incrdible to me. I could go on for hours without effort, without ever having to think about my next move. ironically the way to get the best performace is not to play for result but just for the joy of making your every move the best it can be. Anyway he asked for a raise at Eendracht and they refused, so he quit and a year later they were shit again.

The problem with Hazards performances is psychological. players who are very creative and talented need to be in a specific state of mind where top performance and creative ideas come effortlessly and work is fun. It has something to do with the exact right amount of stress and beeing whats called "in the zone". It's up to Mourinho to get him in this state of mind. Or the should get a talented psychologist.

Eden cut all ties with his broker/manager (or whatever you call them in English) and all of a sudden he's beeing linked with Real and PSG again, despite still having at least 3.5 years left on his contract. Not sure what to make of it tbh...

That's down to how you want to read it. to me it's simple: Lukaku is a fantastic striker and we're very lucky to have him. But right now he's not suitable for every type of game. thats why he needs to become more of an all round striker and improve his weak points. he even sais this himself.. It's also why his loan is not a bad thing. Not the best for Chelsea's current season, but certainly better for his development into a more allround striker.

Eh.. Relax.. it was on the post match discussion on 4. i'm very happy with his performance, but he does still need to work on certain aspects of his game, he's still young afterall.. and it has nothing to do with him beeing better then Chelsea's strikers or not. personally i think he should have gotten his chance here. jeeez..
-
TBF there was some criticism on Lukaku even in the Belgian press after the game. He's still worse then Benteke with his back to the goal and lost the ball a few times in such situations. That said this was the type of game that Rom's built for as Croatia were forced to attack and they were playing with 3 defenders, and plenty of space behind them. So happy that we had him today \o/

Am i the only one who thinks we are too dependant on Hazard again? Last season i think he played the most minutes out of the entire squad, even with his suspension, and now we're seeing the same pattern. I though Shurrle was going to provide some copetition on his position...
-
He probably needs some time to adapt physically to the style Mou demands of him. Its far easier to run at players when he doesnt need to conserve energy for his defensive work. When he'll do the backtracking effortlessly youll see him doing more successful dribbles etc imho.

Anyone got his MOTM interview?
-
Ive always thought he was bought for far less then 18 million pounds from Anderlecht. The Belgian media reported 12 million euro at the time, though there was something about extra money beeing paid afterwards depending on his performance..
