When have Mazacar actually saved our asses? When have they performed when the pressure was really on and we were backs to the wall? Lampard has saved our ass several times, Drogba, Terry, Cech have. we do not need any centre backs! We got Chalobah, Kalas and Bruma waiting on the wings. Kalas is one of the best defenders in Eredevise, fast, technically accurate, great timing, tackling and heading, positioning odds-on, calm and composed. At 19 he will still get taller and bigger. Bruma is of now a rather mediocre defender but is very versatile, big and strong enoug, threat from set pieces and exquisiste long range shooting. Chalobah i do not know anything about but there is a reason why he has already featured for the first team at this young age.

No team has won the champions league without experienced players, legends that eased the players on the youngsters. Wonder why Arsenal does not win titles? They got the talent but they do not have the characters to carry them in the crucial situations. We simply need leaders like Terry, Lamps, Cech not only for footballing reasons. If we'd get rid of old players too early and no one there to step in as leaders, we are fucked. There many talented teams but not so many have the guys that win you titles. Lamps used to be our best midfielder AND striker in one person for years. His finishing is still worldclass. he may not hit the long rangers that often now but also this season for England and for Chelsea he has proven that his finishing ability within 20 yards is still enormous. Don't know a single player who is that efficient in front of goal. Face it - he can't do any worse than Studge or Torres? His link up play has always been good since he also is a midfielder he won't have problems here and he does not really need to be fast, as in most games the opponent does not give us the space to counter. Actually he is not that slow without the ball either. Other possibility is his natural position in a 4-3-3, which will figuere again this season. In recent weeks we lacked leadership, we lacked finishing. That is what Lamps offers. Role to play

LOLZ. Just realized the first time West ham is back in the Premier League.

He is not fast for a winger, but for a midfielder he is extremely fast. have u seen him skip every bundesliga opponent's midfield with some explosive strides. He is more like Lampard who also used to have some decent pace at young age. Don't really get, what this "wide midfielder" stuff is about. When do they play. Malouda was more of a defensive winger and hence great in that 2010 4-3-3, which had almost no pace but so much power and balance. KDB should be used in mid-3 or double pivot.

In 2010 he was sick of Malaria, under Scolari and AVB he simply was not picked. The Drog only repays faith. If RDM sticks with him, he will score. The game against Juve is a bit like the game against Valencia last season, remember the Drog in that one?

If he signed that short-time contract, it wouldn't be that unthinkable that he also could play games for us, like Beckham and Henry did. Imagine what an impact he could make in a period we traditionally struggle.
