  1. Chance wasting + ref corruption is the ultimate frustration
  2. Fa have already decided how this is gonna end. This is like wwe but only one wrestler knows what’s going on
  3. Already one of these days once more
  4. Can the commentator repeat that Leicester won the da cup 100 more times pls
  5. So no height issue this time with only 1 tall outfield player despite playing the same team? Cant take this from TT serious anymore. It is clear Chilwell and Pulisic got rested for this one. Probably our strongest team available given Kova's fitness. Lets hope for the best.
  6. Hard to be an underdog type of a player when you are the best midfielder of your generation. He was a plucky type in his west ham days tho. The palace job might be a decent opportunity. After all he started the rebuild with us and did very well integrating younger players. CP are in a similar positon. the difference is that he will neer be that much in the spotlight and under pressure no matter who they buy. Even if they make a couple of 30,40m signings and only just avoid relegation he will not get fired solely for that.
  7. That is right. As I said Lukaku is way more of a finished product. His passing generally has gone up a notch. Even in this compilation you see like 20+ situations were he plays the killer pass that splits the defence. He usually plays the difficult vertical pass before considering anything else which is the exact opposite of what our attackers do who always spray the safe ball out wide and hope for a good cross back in that never comes. That directness could compliment us well in many situations but we would still face the same problems vs deep buses. Vlahovic is more active all over the pitch and tries many different things that do not come off always. But doing so he causes confusion in opposition backlines, drags defenders our of positions and does more unpredictable stuff. Surely an interesting prospect if he continues his development. I would say if we would go all in for either we would get him.
  8. they are very different players tho. With Lukaku you know what you are getting. lukaku is way faster than Vlahovic and is a machine on the counter attack. If you are looking for a counter attacking striker he is probably the best in the world. My only gripe with Lukaku is that he never really developed into that Drogba mould. Strikers who can dominate tight sapces witht heir body and create chances for others or score from headers whilst heavily marked. Those players win you tight matches. Lukaku never got to that level due to his lack of close control. He is less of a battering ram or siege tower but more of a war elephant most effective in open field and space to charge into. Whilst he can look spectacular in these specific situations, those rarely happen in big cup finals (which is maybe partly why he has never won a single cup). Vlahovic is more of a hustler. I think with their height and goal records any similarities end. Vlahovic already has a better first touch and close control. He has not quite the same power but is no slouch either. I have only a few games of him and he has not been exactly clinical in those but he did create a lot of chances for himsel and for his teammates. I can definitely see him evolve into a complete modern forward if he polishes his technique further and gets even more ruthless. If he was a finishes product already, he would definitely fit us better esp vs deep defences. Not really convinced Lukaku would be a good buy anyway. He would probably help us finish off the smaller sides but he so often has been walled by players with better game intelligence i can see him being a bust in the big games again. Also at 28 he is hardly getting any younger and will cost a ton. Vlahovic on the other hand will need serious game time to develop here and not sure we can give him that esp with TT's fondness for werner. Serie A has produced so many one season wonders lately that a bit of caution is in order with Vlahovic i guess.
  9. Perfectly logical. If history has proven one thing then that two guys from the same religion are always best friends 😂
  10. yeah but that was Arsenal's job. We can't chance it on a one in a million final win vs Guardiola.
  11. This is not gonna happen, so I am not even close to getting my hopes up. We are hardly a trophy guarantee these days and if Levy who is abitch to deal with anyway sanctions a Kane transfer it sure as hell wont be to us.
  12. I am leaning towards the same. Better buy no one than panic buy someone too expensive. Replacing Ziyech with a winger who scores goals like Sancho instead might be a smarter move. Anyway, I think we do need to buy a backup striker if we can not get a proper no.9 for the first XI. a) We can either take a punt with someone young ike Vlahovic or Patson Daka (insanely pacey freak athlete and averages a goal every 72 mins) or b) go for someone more experienced and reasonably priced like Gerard Moreno who is a deadly finisher with decent all round game.
  13. Imo if they had any bottle, they would not have lost 2 FA Cup finals in a row as favourites. but football like life is about how you get up after being knocked down. So maybe they have at least learned from their many mistakes.
  14. yeah the Rose BVB move was the trigger for the merry-go-round with Hütter being his replacement. With both clubs being on a similar level I never really understood the decision. Frankfurt is a way better city and IMO a more uptrending club than Gladbach. This managers moving during the season is an absolute cancer but it also shows how weak thsi generation of players is mentally. only bc the manager moves suddenly all individual performances drop. Hütter and Bobic shamefully congratulted themselves on the EL. They simply did not understand the club and that Frankfurt fans always demand the most from their team.
  15. lol thats about the height and stature i had in my late teens^^ I could imagine bc. women are significantly slower and can't jump as high as men, height and strength plays even more of a role.
  16. Frankfurt completely botched it. they had a 7 game gap on them and then proceeded to just win 1 in 6 after both their coach Adi hütter and their technical director switched clubs and were not exactly subtle about it. Hütter even said that he liked the stadium and the fans of Borussia M'Gladbach in the post-match presser. The players did not cover themselves in glory either.
