Why would a complete player with many attributes not fit in at Chelsea? I think he's a very good option.

That would depend on whether Torres can keep scoring, but I do like Sturridge as a striker option. The point is that Di Matteo doesn't seem to like him and we don't want to let him leave for free.

Schurrle is crap. Average in every facet except for shooting and running.

I don't want players like Ramires sitting on the bench and Marin not even on the bench because our squad is too big. Having a first choice 11 is important for cohesion, that would be very difficult if we sign Hulk. Not to mention the financial implications. It has nothing to do with being a 'big club'. Our squad is big and strong enough as it is. City, Barca and Real Madrid haven't spent much this summer and United might have gone for RVP because Rooney will be sold.

Our squad is too big for Hulk. Oscar and Ramires were on the bench yesterday, then there's Marin, Sturridge and Moses. We will have a strong bench in every game, some very good players will not even be on the bench!

So we should spend 30 plus million on a player we don't need just because he's good?

it would be difficult for Torres. He would watch from the bench and probably be sold in January. We need Cavani.

I wouldn't call Meireles useful, more a liability. Essien is useful as a holding mid.

The game tonight showed why need Cavani. Torres not very good and I can't see that ever changing. He is 28 and patently lost acceleration.

We badly need a striker. Torres scored but he still looks well past his best, shadow of the player at Liverpool. Cavani would make us title contenders.

We should really try and use our dead wood in the Hulk or Cavani or Jovetic deals. Players like Meireles, Essien, Benayoun and Malouda will be appealing to these teams. Why not offer two players + cash?

No point playing him wide or rotating, unless we are playing 3 times a week and he needs a rest. I'd love to sign Cavani, he would give our attack the focal point it needs. Torres will not do that.

And Ramires, arguably our best player last season. I'd choose Cavani over Hulk.

Torres doesn't play well with another striker. I suppose the best option is Hulk if Napoli want 40 + million.

Everyone talks about his ability to play there but I've never seen him play as a striker, i don't think he has played there many times.

I think Mikel is decent defensively, of course his mobility and speed could be better, but he makes good interceptions and he shields the ball well. His problem is that Lampard bombs forward and leaves him isolated. We need our two midfielders to stay at the base and protect. Lampard doesn't seem to understand that and it WILL cost us against good teams.

Arsenal's midfield options look unbalanced. Loads of playmakers and no one to do the dirty work.

His buy-out clause is 20 million less but I do think Mancini wants Jovetic and Chelsea have liked him for years now.

He is not a very attacking full back but I don't mind that. We have so many attackers we will need our defenders (and midfield two) to defend - or we will be punished by good teams.

The midfielders mostly act as a shield and make simple forward passes to the attackers. Lampard and Mikel are both capable of doing that but Lampard needs to stop venturing forward and stay deep with Mikel.

Lampard excelled there under Di Matteo and Mikel played well towards the end of last season. I hate this double pivot talk anyway. It used to be called midfield. Oscar is suited to midfield, he has played there before and done well. Ramires could play a box to box role in midfield as well. Modric would also end Josh's future at Chelsea.

Mata will not move to the left to accommodate a Brazilian kid. Hazard is better on the left than he is in the middle, Mata is better in the middle than he is on the left. Oscar will have to play in midfield or on the right. I suspect he will not be a regular starter in the first half of the season.
