against tight compact parked buses like today its not the best idea to play all three but against teams that dont park the bus there is no problem playing all three.

Torres haters watch carefully he may have 3 class players behind him but he is up against a very organised and solid parked bus if he gets 2 or 3 really good open chances and misses them then fair enough but if he doesn't even get a clear chance then dont start talking rubbish saying 'how can he not score with them behind him'. in what way is he right? Owen used to be good many many years ago! he is old now and has had many injury problems recently no one sees him as a big name anymore thats why he plays for Stoke! whereas Torres has just won the Euro 2012 golden boot and a Champions league! so defenders still see him as a top striker! that is why all our new players always mention Torres as a great player they cant wait to play with same as Lampard and Terry! both of them as well are not as good as they used to be but are still huge names in world football a completely different level to Owen which is just a very ignorant and lazy comparison! ok whatever you say! so do you really think the Stoke defense today are going to say 'oh we dont need to worry about Torres he is crap' or do you think they will want to put out a good performance against him? because i am sure if Shawcross for example manages to keep Torres quiet for 90 minutes he will go home a very happy man, but according to you he will be more like meh its only Torres! dont be ridiculous! whether he is perfroming or not he is still a huge name in world football and any defender would be satsified and happy with themselves to keep him quiet! but i do hope defenders start getting your ignorant attitude towards Torres and start to not see him as threat and dont bother with him as that would make things alot easier for Torres.

oh here we go with Kalou again! zzzzzzz Kalou was different, people got in his back because he would constantly get in good positions and mess things up! he was a good player but very frustrating! also part of the reason why Torres gets great support is because us fans are also trying to boost his confidence! so stop trying to jump on the Torres only gets support because of his work rate bandwagon! we all know all the stuff in the press about Torres having a lack of confidence ect, that is why you hear his name sung for dribbling past a player or getting a good shot on target because he cost this club alot of money and we all want him to do well and its alot better to support the guy to at least give him half a chance to succeed rather than talk rubbish about him and boo him!

if you think Torres doesn't put effort in then you clearly dont watch him enough, that is actually why the fans at the bridge including myself always support him and chant his name because we know he is struggling but he always works his socks off and puts in a lot of effort.
