I would have to agree that Oscar is better than KDB, but i also agree that BleedsBlue's opinion that signing Oscar will in a way will restricts KDB's development as a CFC player. I'm no professional footballer but i believe every player would love to have a debut goal and that's what happened to Marin. During his Bremen stint he have sometime the best assist record in Bundesliga, so I'm saying he is not a selfish player.

I believe its the wage demands that completely turns off other clubs.

I know he is tactically skilled and he is good with the ball but whenever he dribbles the ball and an opponent around him makes me grip my nuts off.

Is it only me that thinks he is a better fit for a CM rather than a wide player? He is very calm with the ball and moves very well in the middle. I dont think he is pacey enough to be a wide player.

I hope he shines on our next game against PSG, with the CB qualities PSG have he will surely get good challenges.

Positives from the new guys and some of our young lads! :blue scalf: Hazard - Very good in dribbling and balance. Will be an exciting season for CFC having such a wonderful player. Marin - Very pacey and good in dribbling though he looks like he wants to impress RDM but little bit selfish in some moment but very good overall performance KDB - Bit unlucky but i see him a good fit for deep-lying playmaker rather than a wide player. Josh - With his 2 assists is great and his error will do him so well that he will be more careful next time. Hutch - Solid at the back... maybe a 4th string CB for him Todd Kane - Very impressive IMO. he will be good for the future if not given oppty this season Piazon - He showed some good movement, maybe if he could play at his regular wide roll will do some more good. Overall it was good 1st game performance for the young lads!

I'm not sure if this one has been raised up but Maicon could also play as right wing with Iva at RB right? It is like Ash and Ryan on the left during the CL finals. But people might disagree because we could be playing more of an attacking system next season but Maicon is not bad as an attacking option in the right and at the same time cover some holes left by our attacking system. I'm not saying he could be our first choice RW but this will show you his versatility, just saying.
