  1. Lol... There is no way possible we can get knocked out because of away goals... That's all that matters and only us winning 2-0 goes to pens. He meant well
  2. Oh and just when I don't get pissed off with rafa. He comes out and says torres has been great recently... WTF has this bloke been watching. Even my mum said torres is shit and she hardly even watches football ffs.
  3. It did work for the first half vs arsenal though... If we can replicate that we are in with a great chance.
  4. Yeah, I think he just put the wrong name. We definitely go through in extra time if it is 1-3.
  5. It's David Cameron trying to get re-elected to by saying if you want to be truly British you need to re-elect him but If you want to just be a European then don't vote for the conservatives. Because he knows that the majority of voters talk about national identity etc. It would fuck up things like trade and in turn the economy.
  6. We won't need any... Only defensive ones to protect our 3 goal lead. ;-)
  7. Ba starts get in there. We will qualify... I am very confident... Come on you blues. Let optimism reign!!!!
  8. The games arn't meant for resting players, its just thats what some teams decide to do. We have played our best team to get to this point, so what was the point of that if we just let ourselves get knocked out. We have a Fa cup game against easier opposition which is a great chance to rest our big names so i see no reason why not try and get to wembley.
  9. Klopp, loew maybe... Realistic signings i would like. A bit more depth in midfield... Lampard, back up striker (lukaku maybe if he doesn't go back on loan), bring KDB into the first team, and finally get rid of torres!
  10. Probably just means it will cost roman a shed load more money when he wants to buy him lol, but it is definitely the right thing for michu to stay there as long as possible as he can be their star man for a long time.
  11. We are capable of scoring 6 vs them... We are also capable of losing... If we play our best team i can definitely see us winning the game because of the position swansea are in and the likelyhood of them sitting back. Then it comes down to can we score 2 and not concede, or can we get the margin big enough. I think we will do it. We play better in underdog scenarios...
  12. Play our best team, do the job, go to wembley and get ourselves a trophy on the board. We have come this far in the competition so why go out with a whimper.
  13. Everyone knows that model was perfected for the ultimate orgasm... But not gonna lie, when i just read that i thought the same as Rmpr... WTF does he want a motorbike in his bedroom for.
  14. There is a big difference between carvalho and Lampard though.
  15. I didn't bring up the lampard issue but there are plenty of examples in footballing terms this season of how he is is still useful to us, i.e. vs stoke and everton are 2 extremely recent examples.
  16. Glad it is fully official even if we already knew it was true, as he is an important player who we don't have a good enough replacement. If he performs well next year i hope he will be offered another 1 year deal next year.
  17. He was a passenger in the second half, like every other chelsea player with maybe cahill and ramires the main exceptions. Any time he has been "bad" has been when the team has also been bad. He has been very influential and with the exception of mata and hazard has probably been our most useful attacking player. And back on the manager front, you could make an argument that every manager we have had with perhaps the exception of mourinho has been an interim, as very few have had the job for a considerable amount of time. If we buy another player for the pivot and recall KDB, then i get the argument as it will be hard to get much game time (specifically starts) and then if lamps doesn't want that role then its his decision which we will have to respect, but if we don't buy another player for that position and KDB stays on loan (i don't want him to stay on loan next season) then we will need him a lot more. I would keep him anyway as he is extremely hard to replace in terms of everything he offers, but we should at least offer him a deal and tell him, this is what will likely be the case then let lampard decide whether he wants to accept it or not... Just, not even offering him a deal would be madness imo.
  18. But the issue is gonna keep coming up, so if he made his thoughts known then it would some of the speculation. Of course it could put unwanted pressure onto the board, but that is far from my concern, and as a manager i couldn't imagine a character like mourinho not saying if he wanted a certain player to stay or not... Also it's not like if we keep lampard then it means josh or nathenial won't get a chance. It's not an either or deal. And if we need someone to come on and help push for a goal or even just to have a cool head on the pitch i would want him on there, over the other 2 in that situation. Josh and Nathanial are hopefully gonna be part of the future but its not like lamps has to make way for them to be able to come through.
  19. He is the manager, and he can say he wants lampard to stay if they can come to an agreement because he is beneficial to the team... Roman can then do what he wants with that... And mourinho would work with the team he has here and not try and make it a real madrid equivilancy. His best position isn't in the pivot but he has been extremely useful for us there this season added to that his experience and just him being there is something that would benefit the team, even if it is coming off the bench in some games. We have no alonso or modric type player here (except KDB) so he could say that about any midfielder we have...
  20. I am not saying this should be our top priority by any means. And who is left in doesn't make a difference. Everyone was in it at the start and we knocked out a "big team" and they all knocked out the other big teams to get here. Surely the fact that there is only swansea, villa and bradford left is a bigger reason for taking it seriously as we have a great chance of adding another trophy. Also, what is the point of playing a good team in the earlier rounds to get to this stage and not bother with it. If we look at it realistically, as you say we have lost an awful lot of cups this year that we should of could of etc etc. And the benefit to winning this would surely be more beneficial than the cost of it... As everyone knows our squad is not very deep, but that has been the case all season, and if that was something we were going to do we should have done it from the start. And on the giving young players experience front. Yes that sounds good, but looking at it objectively the majority of the "youngsters" in our first team squad will not make it, as our best ones are off on loan, the likes of josh, KDB, Lukaku, Chalobah, Piazon etc arn't here. The fact is the majority of our youth products will end up going elsewhere because we are a buying club, who will pay to replace players as opposed to look at the talent we have coming through... I hope we can start giving a chance to more of our youth products, but it doesn't seem very likely atm.
  21. If mourinho came, he would want lampard to stay, and what makes him my favourite manager is that he would just say that and not flirt around the issue like rafa.
  22. I don't understand... You obviously want to play the reserves to rest the first team, as from your selections... JT needs match fitness so i get that... Lamps i suppose due to the thin squad we have in midfield, but if you were gonna go with the reserve idea, why play BA? Surely play torres, then BA gets a nice long rest for the prem.
  23. Your forgetting the crucial point, that we are a club who try to win cups. We have for years and years always played strong teams in this cup and the fa cup. Arsenal haven't won this cup because they are not good enough... Yes they haven't always played their best team but they got beaten by bradford. We should try to win this because a cup is still a cup... And it is not about winning it with benitez or whatever, this is about the team winning it and the players, especially our younger ones getting their first taste of victory. Rafa winning the league cup isn't gonna change his chances of keeping the job or not, as we know all to well from past experience. Bottom line, we are a club who want to win things, like to win things, and ultimately (this season perhaps excluded do win things and i would still consider it important...
  24. Talksport spoke to their spainish correspondant who says he cannot see any scenario where mourinho stays at real madrid and chelsea looks like the best option. He also said there have been some reports saying there is some contact between the 2, but there is obviously no guarentee... If he was a betting man he would put chelsea as the favourites. Though another possible option could be PSG due to it being a new challenge with another different title he could win with a great squad and champions league prospects.
  25. Hardly. Swansea like to come out and play against teams and they will be stuck between whether to play thier normal game or just trying to hold on which should help us. It won't be easy at all, but i think we still have a very good chance, and our away form is excellent.
