? I'm talking about the football. They should have been fined for it, but everyone knew it was the ball boy to blame and that didn't change the football. At home we should have won if not for a couple of errors, but the errors happenned and we didn't play well at their place and then they comprehensively beat bradford. So in pure football terms i feel they were the deserved winners albeit we were arguably better over the two legs. And this season especially there has been far too much talk about the off pitch issues, that is has overshadowed the on pitch (by on pitch i mean the football, i know the "incident" occured on the pitch).

One thing though. Everton are 7 behind us which does provide more than a 2 game gap. Hopefully they have nothing to play for by the time we eventually play them.

We need to get at least 12 points from our next 5 games as comparitevly they are easier. After that games get tough and games like being away to liverpool could become extremely crucial. Wheras arsenal have a tougher next few games but an easier last 3: And tottenham have a similar pattern to that with an easier final 3 games than us, though a tricky middle period: Which means we can really do with getting some early points on the board especially with arsenal playing tottenham next week. At least one of them is gonna drop points.

Bale is finding form at the wrong time for us and he will carry that team. They are also kind of the underdogs, so the pressure is firmly on us. Arsenal are as shit as we are, although they are looking a bit more consistent and soon will not be in any other competitons so will be able to concentrate on just getting top 4. Its gonna go down to the wire. Hopefully tottenham don't win tommorrow and we can keep third. But one bad gameweek and we can find ourselves in 5th.

The reasoning, is because he has great stamina, he can support the right back and then get up front fast and patrol the right hand side offering both defensive and offensive cover. Rafa didn't exactly sound great in the pre game interview. He said: If we win, we are in a race for top 4, and if we lose we are in a race for top 4... So according to rafa it doesn't matter either way. We were shit, but i suppose at least it was city we lost to as opposed to some lower league team, as those games will become must win games.
