It's always a tricky subject. Simply because we don't have a "Local" rival that we are also competitive with. For example United and City, are both local and competitive. But united has been a major opposition of liverpool for decades. Liverpool everton also compete on both fronts. Tottenham and arsenal arn't exactly local, but are "generally" competitive. For me, over the last 10 years united are our "biggest rivals", challenging for titles, and having lots of close games. But i suppose "we hate tottenham", are the team we all are supposed to hate the most.
