Our strengths are there strengths and vice versa. It's just they have a settled lineup used to playing with each other for the most part particularly in attack. Our defence is far from convincing but neither is there's and ours has been completely different with mendy in goal (small sample size) so I expect it to be a close game with moments of quality being the difference. If we can get the ball up the pitch and don't get overrun in midfield which is the risk if we come up against a 4-3-3 then we have a great chance. Both teams are probably set up better to counter attack which will be interesting to see.

Ajax look so much better than Liverpool (but they're losing). Liverpool don't look tbr same without Vvd. They're still an amazing attacking outfit and they'll be fine especially when Allison is back but they won't be anywhere near the team they were last year.

Liverpool lost 7-2 does that make them an easy game? We drew at home vs Southampton does that make us an easy game for them? West Brom drew with us 3 3 does that make them a difficult game all of a sudden. Its a 2 game sample size which means very little. come kick off.

Yeah a draw is perfectly acceptable away from home at old Trafford however off the back of the Southampton draw it'll add unnecessary pressure for the 2 after. Be great if we could beat united as that'd be a real statement to make for the rest of the league and could kick us on.

Tbf to him. It can't be easy to have to come on and be a creative spark against a team defending deep which will be partly why he struggled to impact the game. He's gonna be great for us just needs to get up to full speed and play 90 and we will see his quality.

Conceded 1 goal in 3 games. Tiny sample size I know. But gotta be a good sign of things to come. And if my theory of us not actually being as bad as we all think defensively and it's just individual errors caused from panic and confusion on top of a shit keeper costing us goals then we may start to see that in actual results. But we won't know til we get a big run of games and can see over a larger sample size. As lamps said we give up very few shots relatively speaking in comparison to the rest of the league barring the top 2.

Sit deep and hit them on the counter with pulisic and Werner. Like what they did to us in the first game of the season. The issue is whether we can get the ball through midfield quick enough. Which is why I'd love to see us go 4-3-3 but I doubt we will. Kova starting would be nice to help in transition and he's the only one who I feel can beat the press in midfield.

I agree zouma isn't the greatest... But... I don't think rudiger or christensen is better. In the air im happy with zouma. Ball at his feet he makes me nervous for sure. Now that leaves tomori and I'd be absolutely fine with us going with a silva tomori 2 but I don't think it's likely to happen as for whatever reason tomori isn't that high in the current pecking order.

I feel like in games like this kai becomes a bit like a second striker and there's so much pressure on him to be the link between the midfield and attack that we csn struggle at times. Not on kai but I think we need to drop into a 4-3-3 even if it isn't kais best position in moments like that. Unpopular opinion but I'd have probably taken kai off and gone Kante kova Mount Ziyech Werner pulisic For the last 30 mins

You don't wanna hear it I'm sure. But we have a team where our new best lineup has 6 new players in. We can't just expect them to be amazing from the get go. Look at pulisic last season for example. We've all seen glimpses and players being new doesn't excuse being shite. But I wouldn't say we've been shite. We've had shite moments but we've had some pretty good moments. Just a matter of knitting it all together. I'm talking about us challenging for the title good to clarify. No excuses not to get top 4 with this team though regardless of the teething problems. But I think everyone knows that.

This is a good point. United winning champions league games doesn't bother me. Let them keep ole for it. Maybe they may be a bit more confident going into Saturday the only downside.
