Meh. With such praise on the forum i was expecting a better game. It was a good game for sure, but i've seen far better from him. Still not one of that "touched by the gods" night I was talking about (much) earlier in the thread. I thinks it's a shame he's playing almost exclusively on the left wing. Chelsea's offensive players should switch positions more during the game IMO.

Anyone got a highlight video focused on his match against steua ? Thks

Well then Kyllian GTFO of this forum and go back to training ! And you'd better have inherited your brother's genius, we desperately need you man !!

Quite agree with this analysis. For the pivot playmaker, Cabaye really seems to be the obvious choice as the successor of Lampard if your board wants Hazard to reach his full level sooner rather than later... Also an amazing player. In the shadow of Eden of course, not the same role, but indisputable for two years now in the French squad, would have been more if Lille midfielders weren't so underrated. Never understood why he chose Newcastle, he's had the level to play for a top team for a few years now.
-
I think he has that in him, in spite of his youth. In Lille he was the leader of our game, wasn't shy at all and was constantly trying to be dangerous when he had the ball, take on players, make runs or try decisive passes. Indeed in Chelsea he's less"belligerent" and often choose just to control the ball, check around him and go for the simplest pass. I don't know if it is because of Chelsea's tactic, or manager's instruction. Personnally i think he knows the first season in a new league is always difficult, and decided to make things simpler for him, stay hidden for a while before fucking shit up next year... I know i've been saying this for a while, but you've seen half of the Hazard I know... I guarantee you he'll continue to amaze you years after years

15 goals 25 assists would be good total for his first Chelsea season. I expect him to be Bale-ish in his stats next year. I think it was his goal of the season yesterday. And assist of the season i'd say his first one for Ivanovic.
-
With Cabaye they've had 4 years already to practice their link up play...
-
Hazard has been gifted with extraordinary muscular resistance. His longest injury in his whole career wad 3 days for a toe injury... And yet God knows he's not been treated with kindness on the pitch.
-
What did he do exactly ? Anyone has a GIF ?
-
I think KonohaOrangeFlash will be delighted to see this pic Should be captain tsubasa though, he has a lot to learn from them

Gonalons is a fine player, the reason why Toulalan was let go of Lyon a few years ago. Quite underrated, even in France, I think it's due to his role and personnality, he seems very shy and discrete out of the field. Would be a good buy for Chelsea but he doesn't want to leave Lyon yet. That's why he's never been linked with another club, he's loyal to Lyon.
-
Lille of course. Where'd he go ?
-
Besides, this kind of decision by the FA is totally illogical... Doesn't do them any good, to the BPL either. If i was a superstar in the making, when i see how the media and the FA are treating players ... I'd choose to go to Spain, Italy or Germany rather than having to face that much stupidity.
-
How can someone allege this a "violent conduct" ? If i was Hazard i'd sue the FA for diffamation...
-
With all the fuzz around this non-event, nobody spoke about his performance. I didn't see the game, how was our belgian fellow before the red card ?
-
If it'd been Torres he'd have shot the ball too, but the boy would have no head left ...
-
First red card of Eden's professional career ! He's getting more and more experience, that's good no ?

M'villa was in contact with Fc Barcelone last summer and the summer before that. Guardiola admitted it And when a player is called by Laurent Blanc to play for France at the age of 19, i think every big club has at least an eye on him... Also, AC Milan made an offer of 6 millions for M'biwa last summer.
-
Yanga M'biwa is a really good defender... when he's up to it. Great potential, athletic, but way too dumb for me. I'd almost say retarded. M'villa has the same problem. He was going to be a world class defensive midfielder. Called to play for the French national team at the age of 19, that means something. But the guy is such a prick. He has issues with authority and discipline. His ego is way too built up, also. Thus he'll never be the player he could have been... Rémy is very good also, and he's a professional. Great pace, anticipation, and lethal finishing when his confidence is up. Great with his head too. He had problems recently getting back in top forms after a difficult injury, but i don't worry too much for his future in the BPL. Hope he'll leave QPR soon though

Joe Cole was good with Lille, it was just his finishing that was very poor. Many frustrating misses. But i liked him and almost every supporters would have loved him to stay with us for an additional year.

I found the rabona i'm talking about, you can see for yourself, his skills were already pretty good before JC (Lol) http://www.losc.fr/losc-tv/videos/%252F18-de-finale-losc-fc-nante-1-1a-p3-tab-2-2010/11 Check at 3 min 15 sec

Pretty hard to say because there's so many good actions to remember with Eden that i'm not really sure when he started doing rabonas. The earliest rabona i can remember was a Coupe de France game against Nantes (or Wasquehal i don't know for sure) the year of the title, the year before Joe Cole arrived. A very beautiful and usefuld one, should have been an assist if our striker Tulio De Melo didn't miss his header. So i know for sure that Hazard didn't start doing rabonas after his acquaintance with Cole. But surely Joe helped him improve his skills in that matter. Tbh i didn't even know Cole was fond of rabona. Can't remember him trying one during his time in Lille...

You should go for Cabaye. Didn't watch him for a year and a half (f*uck you Newcastle), but in Lille he was a beast. Him and Eden know each other very well, and he was very good at reading the game and runs of the Belgian. You know how Eden can be hazardous (what a pun !) sometimes trying to make the difference by himself in the midfield and lose the ball in a dangerous zone ? Well in Lille, each time it happened you could be sure Cabaye was right behind him : Eden would lose the ball, he wouldn't even bother trying to get it back, he would start running forward cause he knew Cabaye had his back and would pass it to him in the space created by the lost of the ball.

he's a good player, but a very dumb person. Bad temper also. Clearly i wouldn't want him in my team
