Can't say for Durant and Rose, but for Hazard i've based my opinion on many years of knowing him, reading about him, watching at interviews, reportages, about his life and family and friends. I know how he behaves with em, with the fans, on the pitch, how he is an attentionate father and husband, how he does not lose his mind over money or fame. So yeah he's a humble man i can say for sure, and it transpires on the pitch.

To fully answer your question, i will add that the position is not what's important. It's the state of mind he has to be. A Messi/Ronaldo state of mind (without the personnal statistic obsessiveness bullshit) The challenge of Mourinho (i have no doubt he will succeed though) will be to build up his confidence and make him understand that being young doesn't mean he's not at that level yet. With his talent and creativity, he has got to be decisive whenever he has the ball in the final 40 yards. Because not attempting anything to create a chance is just lazyness.

All I know is i've seen him have his best run as CAM. He fully put on the playmaker costume around november 2011 and after that it's been the 8 most incredible months i've seen him play. During those times in Lille he would be starting as ten in a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 with a pivot striker up front and him wandering practically everywhere around the pitch, preferably staying close to the ball (not making many runs in the depth). But you could argue that the year Lille won LIgue 1 and Coupe de France, he was on the wings essentially. And the team was playing at a level never reached again, even when Hazard was amazing. But the loss of Cabaye, Gervinho and Sow was too much to handle. Personnally I think can be worldclass everywhere. How i would make him play if i was to coach him though, i'd try to make him play in the same role as Messi has now at Barcelona while making him works harder on his finishing skills. And maybe with a true 9 in front of him contrary to Barca.

Because thay have 37m for Gotze and can buy De Bruyne AND Eriksen for less. Actually strengthen the team while losing its best raw talent. That's the Dortmund way. You lose Barrios ? You get Lewandowski. You lose Kagawa ? You get Reus. You lose Gotze ? You get De Bruyne and Eriksen.

J'espère qu'il m'a lu Eden si tu nous lis, envoie moi un mail : [email protected], cours d'anglais gratos et tu pourras réaliser le rêve de ton plus grand fan : te parler en personne ! Qui ne tente rien n'a rien ...

I totally agree with him ! Trust me, he already did a lot better and I have absolutely no doubt he will be far more influencial to the game and far more decisive next season. There has been plenty of times i've been disappointed in Hazard's games this season, when I thought he didn't take enough responsabilities considering his great talent, "hiding" behind Mata or Lampard, being shy for whatever reason. I think his early followers will agree with me : last year he was at West Ham level every fourtnight, and the other game was average/good (on an Eden Hazard scale, that is to say excellent on many players' scale). I really hope for his sake and for Chelsea that he will soon match his last season level, personnally I think it'll be next year. I'd bet at least 15 assists and goals in PL next season. And what's amazing is i'm sure he will be still far from having reached his top potential. Maybe i'm blinded by my love for him but what can i say ? He's the perfect player imo : - godly skilled - collective minded - humble - professionnal and fairplay (have you seen him shout at the referee once ? No, never.) - always in a good mood, being funny and relaxed - and most of all : he loves playing football so much ! Even at Stanford Bridge in front of 50000 supporters It's like he's playing with friends in his garden, just trying to enjoy his game, and make his partner enjoy it too. That's fucking priceless in modern football. That's why even if there are players who are as skilled as he is, Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Zidane ... I will never look up to them as is admire Hazard, because they have a dark side. Ronaldo is an egocentric twat, Zidane was violent at times, we can feel that Messi is equally interested in personnaly shining than winning the match, and Suarez do i even bother to argue ? Ronaldinho would be the only player i'd have rated as high as Hazard, but then again he played for PSG so he's no match against Eden in my heart With him and Mata, you are gifted with two unique players, both in talent and personnality. Cherish your luck mates ! I sure wish I could say the same for my team. But I had the chance to see Hazard playing for 4 years in the LOSC jersey, and I'll always have that pride in me. Now you just have to pray he'll stay at least as long in London. I FUCKING LOVE YOU EDEN ! Drunk ? Me ? Nooooooooo ...

Good timing to quote myself, I believe

Played the first 6 months on the wings, he was shit, it was very frustrating. Scored two goals during this time. After he came back from the ACN, no one wanted him to play anymore amongst Lille fans considering how poor he played. But due to injuries and suspension, our coach tried him as the main striker and he has blossomed. Not the same player at all ! He's turned into a goal scoring machine (11 goals in 13 games since february, more than Ibrahimovic in that period), that's very impressive. He always tries to go deep, makes great runs, at the edge of the defense line, and his technique does the rest. Whereas 6 months ago he was despised by every fans who wanted him out ASAP, now he has become one of the most crucial player in our team with Dimitri Payet (remember the name, future worldclass player), and we're praying everyday our board will not let him go this summer !

I am male and straight but if there is one person in the world that could make me doubt myself it's Eden Hazard
-
Lol, don't tell me what Eden is please. You probably didn't know the lad until a few months ago, i've been following him for 7 years.
-
I rate Bale very very high, fantastic player really, who has many attributes to become one of the greatest of his generation (awesome dribbling skills, long range shots, pace, strength, crossing abilities...) Unfortunately for him, imo, his whole career he'll be in the shadow of guys like Gotze and Hazard because they have something very important he lacks : the football I.Q of a genius. You know, that thing that enabled Zinedine Zidane to be one of the greatest of all time even though he wasn't a monster physically speaking. Vision and creativity are what make the difference between an excellent player (Bale), and a football wonder (Hazard).
-
Even statiscally, Eden has the potential to destroy Gareth Bale if he plays CAM all season. He scored 20 and assisted 16 in Ligue 1 last season, Bale is still far from these figures. Besides, let Eden shoot all free kicks like Bale does, i can tell you he'll have a couple more goals and assists ! So even by the wrong standards of the Bale fan (considering only stats to compare players), Eden is still superior.
-
Without Hazard, your squad is still better than Benfica's imo.
-
40 if you count the penaltys he provoked and didn't shoot Eden, Chelsea player of the season ? I think that if you take all the surveys of all postmatch topics he's the one who has the most votes !

Not that anyone seems to care but : Nominees for best Ligue 1 player this season : Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, striker - AS Saint Etienne (34 matches, 19 goals, 8 assists) Zlatan Ibrahimovic, striker - Paris Saint Germain (31 matches, 27 goals, 7 assists Blaise Matuidi, defensive midfielder - Paris Saint Germain (34 matches, 4 goals) Thiago Silva, centre back - Paris Saint Germain (22 matches) Young player of the season : Marco Verratti, midfielder - Paris Saint Germain (26 matches, 0 goals, 3 assists) Lucas Digne, left back - Lille OSC (30 matches, 2 goals, 2 assists) Florian Thauvin, offensive midfielder - SC Bastia (30 matches, 10 goals, 2 assists) Rémy Cabella, offensive midfielder - Montpellier HSC (28 matches, 7 goals, 5 assists) Goalkeeper of the season : Mickael Landreau - Lille OSC and SC Bastia Salvatore Sirigu - Paris Saint Germain Stephane Ruffier - AS Saint Etienne Steve Mandanda - Olympique de Marseille Coach of the season : Elie Baup - Olympique de Marseille Claude Puel - OGC Nice Carlo Ancelotti - Paris Saint Germain Christophe Galtier - AS Saint Etienne What it will probably be : Ibra - Thauvin - Sirigu - Galtier or Ancelotti What i would choose : Matuidi - Digne - Ruffier - Puel

Gotta understand the guy, he's almost never injured... He was eager to be reunited with Eva Carneiro
-
Eden is made of steel, don't worry. The lad never gets seriously injured, never seen him miss more than one match because of physical issues.
-
I'll definitely watch the game... Don't want to miss Hazard's first hat-trick in Premier League :blue scalf:
-
It would be a great buy, definitely the future defensive midfield of our national team. Everyone in the north of France knows this guy will be the next big thing since he is 16 y.o, we are not surprised at all he is succeeding so well in Sevilla. With the likes of Varane, Kondogbia and Thorgan Hazard, RC Lens could have been a great team for the next five years. Unfortunately for them, they don't have the money to keep their gems very long...

Did you know that cavani is the only player in the history of the Serie A to have scored a hat trick against all the big 5 italians clubs : Juventus , AC Milan , Inter , AS Roma , Lazio Wonderful strikers who takes his responsabilities in the big games ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpe3yY6SIfY

I think he's overall had a good first year in Premier League, it took time but he adapted well to the team and league. Right now he scored 9 goals and delivered 9 assists, it would be nice to get one more in each at least, to get to the symbolical 10/10. It would be a good basis to work on for the next season, with the objective to get even more decisive. He clearly has the potential to score more than 15 goals and delivering 15 assists every year in Premier League. He has to work on his consistency and find the same confidence that drove him when he was at Lille, where he happily took his responsabilities knowing he was the best player of the team. I really hope Mourinho will see he has to play as CAM or just behind the striker to touch as much the ball as possible, the only way he can get to his top level.
-
Now the question is : retrospectively, are you happy your team underperformed during Champion's League groups ? As a neutral observer, there would have been no chance for you to get to the final and win the trophy (miracles only happen once, and never two years in a row) I really think this third place was a good think eventually, because it allows Chelsea the chance to win a trophy this season, and maybe two : Atletico won't be there this time ^^

French commentators during the replacement of Luiz by Ake : "I don't know about the talent, but the amount of hair in the pitch stays the same". Made me laugh, but i'm a bit drunk so i share to see if it's only me...
-
Nice to hear. So he was CAM ? (his TRUE position)

Appropriate screen-name i must say
