  1. Superb signing indeed. But clearly there'll be players that would not get the time their talent deserve. With De Bruyne and Willian i'd worry for Oscar... Maybe Moses and Van Ginkel should be loaned, also...
  2. Ferguson, Giggs, Scholes, Van der Sar, Rooney ? Ronaldo was good, not as consistent in my memories as you say he was, but either way you can't expect Eden being more consistent for his first year at Chelsea, first year in Premier League, in a team that is clearly transitioning toward a new cycle was much more youth in the squad... Don't you know anything about football at all ? That in that sport one individual performance cannot be judged ex nihilo ? FFS some Chelsea fans are really acting like spoiled brats. You have so much talent in your squad that it seems some of you absolutely want to complain about sthg... Poor dear, young golden boy winner Eden Hazard only score 9 and delivered 13 for his first year in PL, what a shame he's not as efficient as Ronaldo or Messi ! What a shitty player, unable to score 30 per season... Maybe you want some pills to get over your frustration of having such a shitty team to support ?
  3. Name one player consistent throughout all season except Bayern players (which is different, the collective performance necessarilly improves individual ones) and Messi and CR7. And even if you can, i bet you he's older than 22. The thing is also that Hazard has already been 2 seasons consistent enough to win Ligue 1 best player award and being the most used player of Ligue 1 (103 consecutive appearance in a row, record yet to be broken). He just needs a month or two to reach his full form. In fact he's already shown more proofs of consistency in his young career than Van Persie, Aguero, ever have, due to injuries or period of bad form. Would you deny them the status of world class players ?
  4. Indeed, Hazard is a diesel, which is probably due to the fact that he's not as involved as he should be during holidays and summer pre-season physical training. March - April - May have always been its best period of the year, that's rather nice given that's when big games are played. But also it's in his personality. He's like that during games, more often than the other, he begins the game averagely and finishes it man of the match. And the more balls he will touch, the more acute he'll be on the pitch... That's why I like him better as main playmaker, to touch as many balls as possible. I think he would have less issues getting in form in time for the first matches if he played in that position.
  5. And Gotze for 32 at Bayern, find the contradiction
  6. Hi, i'd like to place a bet for this Premier League season but i've never done it. Where do I have to sign up for that ? I'd like bet on Eden Hazard being BPL Player of the season. Is it possible to make this bet already, and what are its odds ?
  7. I just like to write rap songs when i drink. Never done it in english, so it's not very good ^^ But in french i daresay i'm not so bad.
  8. Just passing for a rap, i'll be quick... Just reclaiming this topic, this epic failure, people debating hour after hour, about nonsense, they're all out, stating facts with confidence, with no clue, no proof, no evidence. Making up theories, "if you please, naive reader, believe my stories, as caviar, my bullshit reconsider..." Undignified of this shining talent, it's shameful all this rubbish, wanny say shit ? Well yeah, go fish. The belgian's potentiel is so blatant, someone gotta take a stand, or i'd predict to this topic an awful end
  9. Come on man, seems to me this forum is essentially populated with good, mesured people who know quite well football. For one troll there's ten others telling him to get the fuck out, a 1/10 ratio is excellent compared to other forums i've been in BTW, did you watch the Lille-Lorient game last night ? It was soporific but Origi played the first 55 minutes and scored the only goal of the match, a one on one against the keeper won with plenty of composure
  10. With all due respect i do not understand your point of view, which leads me to believe you don't know much about football. First : "Hazard tendency to lose possession" Dafuq did i just hear ??? Hazard is extraordinary in that matter, his close-control, balance and vision allows him to hold the ball like the best in the world in that domain. Empirical proofs of that are multiple. His statistics in keeping the ball, and number of loss per game are indisputably on his side. Another statiscal proof of his skills in the matter : he's been twice in a row most fouled player of Ligue 1 (and Europe the second year), most fouled player at Chelsea for his first season. So unless you consider getting fooled is losing possession, i don't see what you complain about. Not only he's terrific at holding possession, he frequently creates space for other and manages to create movement in dangerous areas... Besides, that "tendency" that you call, is just collateral damage. I don't know what world you live in, but football is difficult, no matter how gifted you are, there's defenders just as good in front of you willing to put you down no matter what. When you're as offensive minded as Eden Hazard, typically wingers and AM, you're bound to lose the ball. Because what they do, if they succeed it, creates danger, space. Their presence is constant, their threat weighing out opposite defence every minute of the match... Watch of Barcelona game for once in a while, you'll be astounded to see how many times Messi loses the ball during the game, while he's the best in the world for that exercise. Hazard is easily in the close four behind the incredible Argentinian. 2nd : "Inconsistent passing" ??? No need for a long speech, stats will suffice : 88% passing accuracy overall his career, 90% as a n°10 his last season at Lille (source : LFP) ; 85% pass success for his first year in Premier League with NEW partners ! According to whoscored, 45 passes/game in Premier League, 12 assists, 65 key passes, 75% accuracy for long-range passes For a winger, or any other advanced midfielders, you'll find few with better stats.
  11. He's been in the starting team in 4 of the 5 LOSC friendly games in a 4-4-2 diamond, up front associated with Salomon Kalou (which is excellent as a striker). He scored 3 beautiful goals and created many more chances. He is expected to be on the starting eleven for the first Ligue 1 home match against Lorient this saturday, you should check it
  12. And the Coupe de France too. But anyway let it go your friend is obviously trolling you, the talent of Eden is indisputable of the field, even my girlfriend at the time who knew practically nothing about football said at her first match of Eden i made her he was clearly above every players she had w, and said she was happy to wa Even more, she was horny after watching him, his talent, his looks on the field are aphrodisiac ! I spent great nights thanks to Eden And if he's not trolling you, well truth is on your side so just let the time do his job. It'll get him plenty of time to say more ridiculous things he'll be ashamed having said after being caught up by reality, aware of his past delusion...
  13. Man, do you keep an eye on Divock Origi ? Future beast that player from what i've seen as a LOSC fan (don't know how he does in belgium youth teams ?) Great article about this great prospect from the best french football journalist of the moment (specialist of African player, Origi is half Kenyan) here , in which he shows great mentality. One quote that says all about the lad : "Mon père m’a toujours dit de ne pas prendre en compte l’argent mais le projet sportif et, à Lille, je ne peux que progresser. Hazard en est d’ailleurs un parfait exemple. » Translation : My father always told not to make money a priority, but make the choices a real lover of sport would, and in Lille i can only but progress. Hazard is the perfect example.
  14. He knows words like jetlag, i'm impressed
  15. They already lost 4 key players :/
  16. Malanda is a massive cunt, he managed himself to leave the LOSC in the same way one year ago, whereas Lille wanted to offer him his first contract (20k/month, not bad at 17 y.o). He shows absolutely no recognition toward clubs that trained him (LOSC) and the one that put him under the highlights (Zulte). He's the kind of guy who will always go to the highest bidder no matter his situation with his current club, and who is not afraid to confront it to get what he wants.
  17. Remember the time when Brazil was considered the best offensive side but lacked true defenders ? Well 10 years later they undoubtedly have the best pair of CB a team can dream of ... Anyway, Thiago Silva is a god on the pitch but I just can't get used to his baby face
  18. You can close this thread, U20 world champion Lucas Digne signed a 5 years contrat wth PSG (15m €) today. I'm so fucking annoyed by my board. The last gem from our youth academy, gone at 19 years old, while our president claimed no less than a week ago that we are financially balanced and in no need for cash right now. And first choice of Lucas Digne was to stay at least one more year in the club that made him what he is now : the LOSC, who did not hesitate to push him away first chance they got to cash in a big check. It's a deep blow to my supporter's heart. I will need time to get over this. I litterally was on the verge of tears when I heard the news this morning

  20. I'd like to see Oscar vs Schurrle on the left, Hazard vs KDB in the middle and Mata vs Moses on the right. Seems balanced to me, and quite lethal.
  21. poor Schurrle, he's got no chance
  22. He speaks of 5 players for 3 positions. 4 - 2 - 3 -1 it is, then ?
  23. In terms of pure skills, Hatem Ben Arfa must be the best in the world. That doesn't mean that he's better than Gotze. Fortunately, football isn't only about skills, it's also about vision. And IMO Gotze is the U21 player with the best vision and football intelligence in the world
  24. I've been following Thauvin since he has signed for the LOSC in january and directly loaned to Bastia for the remaining of the season. He's a bit of a prick and has to be more humble if he wants to reach top level but he definitely has it in him, potentially speaking. He's not as fast as Hazard or Walcott true, but he's not so mediocre in that aspect that it would compromise his ability to become an excellent player. Juan Mata, Oscar, James Rodriguez or Gaitan don't run faster. I really think he's gonna be in French senior squad pretty soon along with Pogba, Digne and Kondogbia. In terms of pure dribbling skills he's maradonesque. He has a great vision also, and a resentless will to provoke and create danger that make him extra-hard to defend for the opponents.
  25. We're gonna have a golden age for offensive players in the years to come. These four will be a joy to watch, but in their generation there's still Oscar, Lucas, KDB, Reus, Alcantara, Rodriguez, Balotelli, El Sharaawy, Wilshere, Shaqiri and Thauvin who can truely become worldclass.
