  1. CHARLY MUSONDA. CHARLY MUSONDA. CHARLY MUSONDA. #BELGIANLIVESMATTER #PRAYTOPLAY
  2. Out of Arsenal/Chelsea/Man City/Man United/Liverpool, only 1 team feels a crisis when just 1 of their main players isn't available.
  3. Mou's more invested in United's future and the potential future image of himself, than he is invested in the current reality of that club/his image. For as long as he refuses to work on what needs working on today, he will keep falling short in red.
  4. Well, yes, because without Diego, we wouldn't have been playing with a striker. That 'points' argument is terrible. Who's to say we wouldn't have secured more points without Diego? If we didn't have him, someone else would play. Someone else would secure points. This shouldn't need explained.
  5. Just watch his games. Go back and watch him playing alongside the likes of Christensen or even Terry when he played some games for the youth on the road back to recovery, and you'll see he's far, far closer to their shoulders/eyebrows/whatnot than Kante is beside the same players, for example. Chelsea had him listed as 5'4 only in a 2014/2015 youth yearbook when he was 15/16. And many noted the following seasons he'd started getting bigger. I can't find an official Chelsea record from this or last year that states his height. So, no records since the time he was literally too young to buy cigarettes. I was 5'4 then too
  6. I can't imagine what some people were thinking before we signed Kante. Probably that we should've signed N'Zonzi instead for his physical presence or something, as if stamina, pace and agility aren't all aspects of physical presence, which both Kante & Silva have in droves more than their peers.
  7. It's bizarre to see a player utterly fail for your team, then want them back when they excel for another. Should we bring back Cuadrado and Salah? This'd work out as well for us as Pogba going back to United has so far.
  8. Okay. Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat. City are hot on our tail, with a 5'7 winger and a 5'9 one, while we're debating 2 players here being 5'8 & apparently not big enough for the PL. Liverpool's wingers are 5'7 & 5'9. Then we've got United who've turned on the heat in the league via Mata, a 5'6 player on the wing. In terms of teams who're doing better than everyone else in the Champions League this season, the dilapidated and Pep-less Barcelona line up with a 5'7 & 5'9 winger. Atletico's wingers are 5'8. Bayern deploy 5'7 Ribery on one side & 5'7 Douglas Costa on the other. And what's given you the impression Bernardo Silva can't last a whole season in high intensity? And why on earth would we need Lampards and Essiens when we're talking about wingers, and already have the likes of Matic/Kante/Alonso and engines all over? Sounds like you want us to be Stoke, and that you think only Stokes can win the league now. It seems you'd rather flat-track physically bully teams to a title than enjoy the beautiful game being played how it's supposed to be played, with feet. That's just sad. We'd be the only top team latching onto that insane anti-football mentality.
  9. Barcelona made it work with Messi/Pedro on the wings & Hazard/Silva are taller than both of them.
  10. City won't win the Champions League within the next 10 years at least. They've got such a pathetic return for all they've invested. They for sure have played the sexiest football in England since they became top dogs, but their yield is so very low.
  11. I am sweating with excitement, my head hurts
  12. Torres, at his worst, passed the ball better & ran a whole lot more than Costa. At his worst, his dribbling ability wasn't any worse than Costa's. At his worst, he'd keep the ball in his feet roughly the same length as Costa (not a good thing; Torres learned to shoot quicker again in the end, though.) This is comparing Torres at his worst with Costa at his best. The only thing Torres at his worst, didn't have which Costa does, is the finishing. Other than finishing, Torres wasn't good for us because, he started going down too easily, couldn't dribble 'well', couldn't anticipate the players around him / make smart runs etc, and that was roughly it. All of which Costa is equally bad at. Torres was better in the air. Costa is obviously far more valuable, when he's scoring, than Torres ever was for us, but, when Costa's at his worst, he equals our borderline worst ever player. That isn't good enough for your striker. When a top striker's having an off period, he should still be better than 90% of the strikers around. But when Costa's off, 90% of the strikers around are better than him. You can't say that about Lewandowski/Suarez/Aguero/Ibra when they're not scoring, they still end up being the best player for their side.
  13. And bringing Moutinho on is like bringing Matic on but with less strength. These are really bad potential subs. None are proactive so far. Go for more goals you bastard. Thus we introduce one of the most passive players in Europe. AND he takes off his best player to do so lol. What a weird guy man.
  14. If they suddenly relax again they'll be displaying a typical mentality we had up until Conte arrived. It's the only thing in football which makes me feel physically sick with frustration, watching people who should be elite just turning off with quarter of an hour to go.
  15. When we won the Champions League Mbappe was a 13 year old boy
  16. That was quite predictable. Barring an injury you should be removing any player, even your goalkeeper, before one of your integral defenders, even if they're tired. You completely change the rhythm your backline is playing with. Very, very, very naive and I'm sure all of us thought 'cmon, dont do that' when we saw that sub.
  17. Chalobah is 22 and RLC is 21. They're about good enough to start week in week out for a Championship side pushing for promotion. Mbappe is 18 and about good enough to start week in week out for a Champions League winning team. It's enlightening watching him. Even Lukaku is only 1 year older than our youngsters I just mentioned yet 3 if not 4 times the player. Hope we get rid of the posers and get in the real wonderkids soon. It's satisfying on another level seeing genuinely young players playing a genuinely top, proactive game.
  18. Our French pastries are tiring. This late City goal will break my heart for a night.
  19. He really puts into perspective what a real wonderkid is (which Martial was not, and is not.)
  20. City haven't even attempted 1 shot according to the stats in all these 50 minutes. The only other team I could see containing them like that right now is Madrid. Monaco are spanking City, PSG did initially spank Barcelona. But fuck Ligue 1. Even though there's only 1 Premier League team who could spank Barcelona/City. Only 1 Serie A team that could, on a very good day, possibly spank either team. Only 1 Bundesliga team that could spank them. Only 1 team in La Liga could spank them. But France have 2 spankers. No more nonsense about it being a weak league, not when every other league is every bit as much a 2-horse race, yet not even producing on the same level in Europe.
  21. Mbappe is essentially playing at the level Neymar was right before Barcelona bought him. He's already better than players almost double his age who've been at more than 1 top club. I'd love to see him at Juventus.
  22. If they did I'd squirt til it hurts.
  23. I see no way for Monaco to advance. Also, United should sign Kasper & ship De Gea. Literally standing where your dad stood and fighting for the same fans would raise a mentality to a new level of self-belief.
