a good friend of mine a long time Chelsea fan took his wife & kids to the olymp champs league game,they had booked a table in the restaurant in the hotel complex first floor up on the escalator.well heres the story everything was fine with meal etc,except that he was wearing his Chelsea replica kit as normal,he then told me that a nice waiter come over & said the manager had asked him to come over & asked him to cover up his shirt or put his coat on,well you can imagine his reaction,this restaurant would`nt be here without the football etc etc.my friend did tell me they were very nice to the 10 germans in suits that were tucking into there meal with there megastore bags etc.stories like this just make you realise the way football has gone lately.all about merchandising & TV deals etc.BTW he`s defo not renewing his season ticket either,the way things are going with all my long time Chelsea mates none of us will be actually attending games in the future.(WHERE WERE WE WHEN WE WERE SHIT,STOOD ON THE TERRACES)

this story was on sky sports news today,& blatter was interviewed saying that the new eu treaty has changed so it could be implamented as the sport section has been amended,

blatter says law has changed to allow the big wigs to limit the amount of overseas players in any one team to 5.so that would mean a minimum of 6 english players in the team.hmmmmmmm we would just about be ok,depending on who we played @ left back(ha ha )arsenal would be in deep shite though,even liverpool
