OK, so you think there are improvements. Cool, we can opt to disagree and leave it at that. But for the sake of clarity, for I want to understand your POV, let's break things up a little finer here 1) Do you admit that Jose has erred (as has the board and the players)? 2) If so, what exactly did he do wrong in your view and what is he doing to amend it? 3) Don't you think it is an insult to Chelsea fan's intelligence blaming everything/anything but himself?
-
the first step to solving a problem is admitting there is one. It is not due to a mere lack of good luck we're where we are. That's the single most troubling thing about our situation. People are blinded by their affection for Jose to see there is actually an error to be corrected in his approach as a manager.
-
I agree. But some thing has to change... whether it is the manager or his way of doing things, it's Jose's choice. He has to make a decision ASAP
-
do you really think this is the case? Do you honestly believe a whole bunch of world class players would just turn to shit over a period of a single summer or, as Jose keeps on saying, its just bad luck? Come on!
-
I'm sure he did. But that's just one side of the coin. For our complacency during the summer we should lose the title and, worst case scenario, finish fourth. That's the worst that should be happening right now. But what ever is going on inside that dressing room right now, I am sure, it has no footballing reason at all. Something else is going on and Jose is behind it all. That's why I'm not sorry for him as much as I am for Chelsea FC.
-
I'm not sorry for Jose for he brought this on himself. But it will take a couple of years for Chelsea to get back to where it was a year ago. With out CL football, we won't be able to attract top players anymore. Any manager who is someone won't be so much interested either. And the media, those fucking vultures, will be all over us for months to come. Fuck, we need to reach top 4 somehow.
-
As far as I'm concerned the board is the main culprit in this case. They let the Jose and the club down during the summer. Of-course he didn't help himself with being such a drama queen all the time but given the team was just a couple of signing away from greatness, the board's sin is much more unforgivable. They fucked us over with their complacency. As for the next manager, as someone said earlier, anyone except, may be, Guardiola, will be a step down. Such a sad, sad situation we are in.
-
I'm sorry mate, but this utter BS. Not taking the initiative even when you're at home, in need of a result can be nothing but cowardice. I am not sure if Jose should be sacked at this point but if he is, his disgraceful lack of courage when setting up his team against a half decent opponent should be the main reason... I mean, come on!.. I'm not sure about you but I don't want it to be Chelsea's identity to always be the passive one in big matches. I don't want that for the club I'm very fond of.
-
its foolish to try to find a footballing reason to all this because it has nothing to do with football. Its not about players form, bad luck or bad decision by referees. It can only be solved with jose's departure or a total revamp of the squad, meaning, the selling of Hazard, Oscar, Matic and so on... I'm not sure if the club should pay such a huge price just to make it work with Jose
-
I don't know if Jose should be sacked or not but you know who should, no, must be sacked? who ever was in charge of our summer dealings and the genius who came up with the idea of the post season matches... those mofos!
-
I believe, Simone is too much like Jose... and Jose is the best of his kind, it would be foolish to sack him and hire someone just like him who flourishes being an underdog. I don't expect Guardiola to come to us either

iva to the rescue http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3289773/Chelsea-defender-Branislav-Ivanovic-aiming-make-return-month-against-Norwich-following-hamstring-injury.html

I still think she has something to do with this shit storm
-
After the Southampton game Jose said everybody needs to take responsibility and stick together in these trying times. Well, what is his responsibility? Does he admit any wrong doing on his part? Is he capable of change? why shouldn't he be sacked? ... I'm not convinced he should be fired, but I don't see why not
-
we're paying for the mistakes made in the summer... fuck off matic
-
I also agree Iva was poor last season and the one before that I don't believe the RB is a less important role in our system since we don't deploy pure wingers to create width He is as bad at attacking as he is at defending
-
I don't get how Brana is getting all this sympathy for being a 'scapegoat' .. its easy to forget his abysmal performances through out this year because everybody else is getting worse on the pitch right now but I still believe our RB is our biggest problem
-
Yes they are playing like crap and suffering a huge lack of confidence. That is the outcome of the situation. I'm talking about the means by which it got to this point... Don't forget that we are discussing about a squad of highly talented players and current champions of England. Granted, some of them can suffer a certain level of dip in performance but a whole team as good as ours can't just turn to shit over a period of a few months. The only way the players can contribute to the problem is by becoming complacent and unprofessional but that would reflect badly as much on the manager as it will on the team.
-
The post match games and the late start to the summer training are correlated ... and Jose has a say in that, I blieve
-
Speaking of taking responsibilities, I see some of you guys are trying to put things in to perspective using numbers.. let me try this too Post Season Matches + Late start to the summer.. (Jose - 60%, Board - 40%, Players - 0%)........................... (15% of the total problem)Lack of Summer transfer activity............................ (Jose - 0%, Board - 100%, Players 0%)...............................(30% of the total problem)Selling Luis............................................................ (Jose - 100%, Board - 0%, Players 0%)................................(5% of the total problem)Eva Caraneiro....................................................... (Jose - 80%, Board - 10%, Players 0%, Eva - 10%)..............(5% of the total problem)Lack of motivation...................................................(Jose - 30%, Board - 10%, Players- 60 0%)...........................(10% of the total problem)Lack of rotation.......................................................(Jose -100%, Board - 0%, Players 0%)..................................(15% of the total problem)Lack of tactical flexibility......................................... (Jose - 100%, Board - 0%, Players 0%).................................(20% of the total problem)overall, Jose ....... 56%Players ... 6%Board ......38%

What would he do different form now on? We need a plan, Jose. Mou shouldn't get a second chance just to do the same shit all over again. He's still talking about, bad luck and lack of confidence as major factors. No Jose, we have been terrible as well. You said every one should stand up and take on their responsibility, well, What is yours? What did you do wrong and how do you propose to fix it? There are far too many questions unanswered to before we should grant him full trust,.
-
there is none, and even if there is, he wouldn't want to come to us. such a sad moment
-
The Only Place To Be ... a guy who used to comment on this forum. She had a controversial stance on foreign Chelsea fan's... was kind of Chelsea's own EDL, some would say
-
which one is more of a burning issue? JT not playing or under performing players playing all the time? The media is diverting the issue to a very narrow narrative. It is so infuriating
-
It is so frustrating that the media is making a big deal out of John not playing and Jose criticizing the players (which he should do a lot more) ... there's nothing in the PC Chelsea fans would like to know right now
