Seriously though, this transaction does not make sense at this time from a game theory point of view. -If Mata really wants playing time to make his case for national team selection, there's a million other clubs he can go to in january that don't strengthen our rivals at one of their weakest positions. -If Mata really wants to go to Man U, he can go in the summer for a big fee. I know Mou will do what's best for Mata ultimately, he obviously cares about his players immensely. But I can't see him hurting the squad at this time to do it. Time will tell I guess.
