  1. I like him BUT He doesn't really get after defenders and occupy them, he seems like a better version of Daniel Sturridge. He's good in the air and scores a lot there but I don't see how he would link up play and occupy defenders. He's technique looks to be pretty average as well. Love is determination and aerial ability, he seems clinical but I would air on the side of caution here mainly due to price.
  2. I doubt anything will get announced before Tuesday. The club tends to run its business 9-5 monday to friday type thing.
  3. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/calciomercato-non-solo-chelsea-e-city-anche-il-psg-e-su-alex-sandro
  4. Just more insider information. Is Agresti a trusted Juve journalist?
  5. what about Agresti? The feeling, and maybe a little more, is that #AlexSandro it is increasingly attracted by the proposal #Chelsea.
  6. There is loads of links attaching Sandro to leaving. Pretty much every major Italian based journo is saying it is soon to be completed. Do you want me to list them off for you? The players declaration is almost never made public... You're clutching at straws. In the coming days we will know, until then all the signs point to him leaving
  7. You mean your hope. Your opinion is based on nothing concrete. All the signs point to him leaving Juve for Chelsea, what do you have to back your claim this is only a contract ploy?
  8. This is the deal I most want to get over the line. The type of signing that can alter a season and a champions league campaign.
  9. we'll see, fees mean nothing anyways we can afford it
  10. I don't think we are playing through the middle of the pitch anymore. Our creativity is coming from the wide areas, so the need for a playmaker through the middle is lessened
  11. Not that I agree with the comparison but when Yaya was at Barca he was very similar in playing style to Bakayoko.
  12. I don't see how that can be considered a bad thing. If we can duplicate Kante imagine the amount of ground we can cover? not to mention the freedom it will give our creative players.
  13. If this happens we are another step up in the Premier League. Easily the best left side in the league and rivalling the world. I liken this move as the equivalent to us signing Kante last year. Huge signing that makes us significantly better... mirrors Kante in that regard
  14. Go Home Ray, you're drunk.... AGAIN. I hate the fact that this is still part of the narrative. Its so clear to me Nathaniel went on loan and never really excelled(was okay but certainly not at Chelsea level) Came back from loan and has yet to really impress in the premier league. He played against low ranking teams in the cups and never really asserted himself. I know its harsh but Chalobah hasn't given the manager something to think about and anyone who thinks he has, has definitely had a few too many Wilkins cocktails. Its not up to the club to give someone a chance, its up to the player to PROVE he can be counted on and to this point Nathaniel hasn't quite done it. There's no mandate at Chelsea to ignore the youth, they have to prove to be exceptional.
  15. Both are very possible we have no idea what conte wants to do or who is coming in.
  16. He didn't have to improve massively from his Celtic days he's was really good then. The fee has gone up significantly because he is doing the exact same thing in a much stronger league. Laporte isn't a boss he's what we have in Christensen. Virgil is a stopper who is good on the ball.
  17. The nature of the business. Defenders are scarce these days, Southampton don't have to sell and know how much money Chelsea (and most premier league teams) can realistically pay. I think if you look at the current market (very few Defenders) 60m, though high, is what the market is dictating. Same can be said for strikers. Aubameyang is not a £63m striker but in this limited market you can see why Dortmund are asking for that. Bottom line is market dictates price and Chelsea have way too much to worry about valuation
  18. they don't exist. the one guy Piraux is a fake account....
  19. You should spent some time looking at the origin of these links
  20. Okay so no real source. Everything online says 160k in wages and more in endorsements
  21. You have a source? Everything I've read says he makes 160k
  22. We can comfortably spend over 250m. Player sales is up to 100m(not including Diego) Nike 60m, Yokohama 30m, winnings 150m
  23. your short sighted opinion will change when he's banging them in. I follow your comments, you've been a lot more wrong than right through the years.
