  1. The option to buy is paramount but just having him to showcase what is possible with a complete midfield is also a must. Even if we don’t secure him after a successful loan, the board will see how important it is to have a player like that in the fold. Either way we will get someone else if this doesn’t work. I’m engorged right now.
  2. Would LOVE a direct translation from our french contingent! http://www.footmercato.net/flash-mercato/chelsea-l-appel-du-pied-de-giroud-a-fekir_233576?var_mode=calcul
  3. Just means we go with 24 instead of 25
  4. RLC is homegrown he doesn't count.
  5. Can't see this happening. As I've been pointing out time and time again, Chelsea are at the limit for non-HG players, Someone has to leave for this to happen. Anyone have any names for who is out the door?
  6. My worry is he's clearly stated he wants to play regularly and he will have that opportunity at Palace. Nobody is going to touch Drinkwater's wages.
  7. If this comes off it is a fantastic move for the club. First off, it is clear we have gaps in the midfield that need filling in order to fully adapt to Sarri's way of playing. Passing and ball retention are paramount, with Jorginho we have an ace, with Kante we have a worker ( not sure if he is the ideal fit ), but after them there is a hole. Kovacic on loan gives this board a glimpse of what can be done with a high functioning midfield this year. And if this move allows us to address other needs like goalkeeper and scoring than we are laughing. On the other hand this pretty much seals the fate of Bakayoko and RLC. I can't see the club carrying Jorginho, Barkley, Kante, RLC, H2O, Kovacic, Bakayoko. 7 for 3 spots is a lot but we also need homegrown players. For this reason I keep Danny, who is utterly useless but too expensive to loan. Would love to see Oblak or Kepa along with one of Fekir, Zaha or Martial now.
  8. I’d prefer someone who has more pace for the RW. If he’s being targeted to play in the midfield three does he have any ability to defend? I doubt it. Hope this is just clickbait... he’d be a decent signing but not the ideal signing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yes I do! I find his musings on football hilariously shallow! So yes I tune in from time to time for a laugh, its great for that. You'd have to ask your boy NiiNii about that. Pathetic.
  10. To be honest we aren't in for either of them. BOOK IT.
  11. lol... The guy stole the channel from the creator and since is talking like he's some footballing czar. Both ignorant and arrogant at the same time... I watch for the comedy, hearing him talk about football so rigidly and stubbornly is funny to me.
  12. come on. It was in relation to how the game is played. He didn't see him as a liability, called it a myth! hahahaha
  13. Sure if thats how you go about getting your news on the club's activities then by all means... Just know that what he is telling you ain't all that insightful or truthful more often then not. I mean the guy has been hell bent on hammering home this idea that Cesc Fabregas isn't slow! Its so clear to anyone who watches football that Cesc is EXTREMELY slow and needs time and space to pick out passes. He also has been caught in so many lies about transfers that he's become a laughingstock. I would just watch him for the entertainment not the content.
  14. I'm not condemning you for not knowing the Phoenix academy. I'm telling you what NiiNii is passing off as insider info has been out there for years, I guess his benefit is for the casual football fan who need their info condensed to a 10min vlog? And I guess that is of value to you and others, because why else would he be charging people to ask him questions? lol. My beef ain't with you, its with people who spread ridiculous rumours about the club AND monetize it.
  15. dude... he went from Sarri, to Jardim, to Sarri, to Blanc... it was actually quite hilarious! The club weren't interested in him at Juve's price point. That's why we didn't get him and why there was so much negotiation going on. Dude, just go on youtube NiiNii is just trying to make money off the club. Its embarrassing...
  16. Was he? If I recall correctly he flip flopped back and forth for months. It was quite comical actually... We were interested in Higuain, Gonzalo confirmed it today. We just weren't willing to match the club's valuation of him. He's more wrong than right. The guy used to say he has exclusive sources from a banker who opens accounts for players... hahahaha every time he dropped that he took an L. The guy is a clown. I'm Jamaican, the stuff on the Phoenix Academy is well out there in the media... if you do enough digging you can get some info and then deduce an opinion based on educated guessing... I assure you this is what he is doing. Chelsea don't leak info and that much has been proven.
  17. Anything coming from that lame ass channel is garbage.
  18. There was no doubt in my mind that this was just newspaper talk based around the fact chelsea haven’t done anything this summer. Zaha signed an extension like a year and a bit ago, even if he was agitating for a move he has next to no leverage. Please lock this up, he’s their best player and they don’t have time to get an alternative... unless you guys think Drinkbleach is enough for them to sanction a move... [emoji23]
  19. Zaha's contract runs till 2022. Who amongst you think this is even remotely possible? This is all the same window dressing that has gone on for the past 3 summers. We negotiate till the deadline then when the media latches onto propaganda and its out that we are after HUGE targets, end then go to the deadline and sign Drinkwater or Djilobodji.
  20. I hope you're right but I fear you're just hoping and not believing. Marina is incompetent.
  21. I think he's being written off way too early. missed an entire year of football and is now just starting to find his feet again. His preseason has been very encouraging, he just needs repetition on more consistency... It'll take time,
