Perhaps slightly but it is ever so slight because he is a fucking brilliant footballer. As of right now, forget potential he'e one of the best box to box midfielders in the world, that's no easy feat. Pogba is the type that if he reaches full potential could play any role in the midfield, he's 21 and showing glimpses of that now... Its easier to say he's overrated than it is to appreciate what a special talent he actually is.

Just for argument sake Lamps was never the quickest and in his last few years was serviceable in the pivot. I imagine Cesc won't be any worse than Frank was there and will likely be better should be decide to deploy him in that fashion

to be honest with you formation means little to me, its all about tactical deployment. Cesc has never been in a Jose system so to say where and how he will be deployed and whether or not he can be used that way is a ridiculous argument. That site seems to come up with their own way of seeing football and its pretty small minded and rigid. I don't really want Cesc but if Jose and our directors think he can play a role and help the squad I'm in, I'm actually intrigued to se how he will be used.

All about how one is tactically deployed it has little to do we where one is said to be playing. Having said that I think last year Matic and Ramires played the traditional pivot for us. The role Lamps played at times is the one I see Cesc playing for us now in a 4-1-4-1

you have absolutely no way of knowing that, good players make those around them better. We've been so starved for strikers the last few years I don't even think our players know what its like to have one up top.
