  1. Anyone fluent in Italian able to translate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I need an Italian translator NOW Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. We need a left sided defender desperately. I don’t think Toby is the ideal fit here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. LOL are we talking about the game where had things gone exactly as they should spurs would've been down 3-1 at the half? The game in which Juve were without Matuidi, Caudrado and Dybala?? A little perspective please. When you have a team of Zappacosta's and Drinkwater's I think its time to temper the expectations of what a manager can do...
  5. Hazard doesn't get into the tough areas to score goals. When he is pedestrian, he often on the periphery of the game, not involved in the areas where he can hurt teams
  6. This is a rubbish opinion which I don’t agree with.
  7. I don’t think it matters whether it’s in games or in training sessions. The fact of the matter is these 13 players are being asked to play more than their bodies can handle because the coach is trying to manage expectations. Expectations that seem lofty when you consider what we have been given to work with in comparison to the competition. A squad full of internationals... Gary Cahill is an international... he’s not very good but he is an international. I think you get what I mean. Courtois, Hazard, Kante and maybe Azpi are the only players we have that would rival what other teams have. It’s not enough. Especially after winning the title and being given a head start on the competition. As far as handling the pressure goes, it’s great at the top! Especially when you’ve said since day one the squad needs to be bigger. Imagine how frustrating it would be to know what is required for the squad to reach their goals and not get what was asked for then have to reach goals regardless of what you’ve been given... pressure would be getting to everyone in this situation
  8. He’s said that many times as well and the same questions keep coming. If he doesn’t answer them he’s called angry and moody and that becomes an entirely different narrative. Again it’s up to you to choose what you want to believe and how you interpret media mind games, I for one will back the manager. He’s done more than enough for me to at least give him another year to see where this goes.
  9. If you’re asked the same questions week after week after week you expect the answer to change? The guy is honest and says what he means, if the media find ways to spin stories it’s up to you to figure out how he intended it. I watch all his pressers so I get a clear understanding of what he means. You should do the same.
  10. And also these so called supporters who seem to be lapping up everything the journos throw at the club. Congratulations guys! You’ve allowed the outside noise to destabilize the club. You have become so fickle it’s embarrassing! One minute you are singing the praises of conte for delivering the title from 10th and the next you want him out for not playing Hudson-odoi or letting Matic go. The same Matic everyone wanted gone because he was so poor in the second half of the year. This generation of Chelsea supporter is in the mold of the maniacal owner who fires a manager in the tunnel of the last game for finishing 2nd. This is what you have become.
  11. So not the amount of games but how they train? I’m pretty sure it has to do with the amount of games for such a thin squad.
  12. He’s right though, no matter what he says or does there are you guys to criticize him. It doesn’t matter that he wants what we want, you keep condemning the man who wants Chelsea to show some ambition. You guys are so fickle. Most of you sound like the journalists out there who work tirelessly to destabilize the club. And I’m sorry but to be a supporter means to support the club. The club is the staff, players and manager. If you can’t show support in time of need don’t call yourself a supporter, you’re probably closer to a fan or fanboy.
  13. That’s what eligible for all competitions means.
  14. It’s a good signing and perhaps better than Dzeko in that he is eligible for all competitions and a lot cheaper. I really think the aerial ability of Giroud and Morata could hurt Barcelona. Just saying... there is lots to like about this deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. We are turning into a laughing stock. We can’t attract any players to this club anymore. And the ones we do or either injured or not wanted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The guy’s demands were ridiculous if I’m being completely honest with myself. He wanted to make 120k a week till he’s 35... sorry that does seem a bit too rich for my blood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Honestly Dzeko’s camp can tongue my sack demanding 3.5yrs and 120k per week. He’s making 70k at Roma. I was all for this as a quick stop gap but not at those prices and for that term. Stay in Rome buddy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Is it? Is roman profiting from owning Chelsea? Or is he just tired of parachuting money into the club? They are trying to be more self-reliant albeit at the absolute worst time.
  19. It would be as shocking as finding out the earth is flat if Conte is at Chelsea next year. The print of what he actually said reads a helluva lot better than his body language and demeanour. He's clearly not getting along with the board since the summer and they've done little to make amends.
  20. If anyone watched today's presser and didn't come away from it thinking he's off you must've bumped your head badly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I'm sure you can see the difference between the level of competition this year and the one from last year. We didn't need to rotate much with virtually one game a week the entire campaign. And to be honest I was never impressed with Chalobah... lots of hype and no actual skill if you ask me. So what players are available at our price point that teams were willing to sell? Does said player improve us massively? We were in for Tolisso he decided to go to Bayern and to be honest I'm not even sure he's much better than we have in Cesc. The problem is what we need in the transfer window is allegedly out of our price range. We need to sprinkle a little pixie dust on the squad to get us back(?) to the elite level. We need 1-2 world class players not 5-6 average players. And for whatever reason Chelsea have refused to pay the money required to bring in elite level talent to go along side your courtois' hazard's, Azpi's and Kante's. We aren't a bad team. We are third in the most difficult competition in the world but in order to compete we can't continuously buy average players and expect more that modest results. Not asking for much here two players and it's a done deal! Had we actually got Sandro and then went in and acquired someone like Mahrez that would be a real signal of intent. Instead we almost got Emerson(who is injured) and we're screaming for Hudson-Odoi to play!
  22. Of course it matters! If your aim is to be amongst the elite you can't spend precisely what you sell! You really think you are going to get elite level return for players we sold? Sure you can get lucky every now and again but you can't expect the club to sell players for 20, 30m and then replace those players with elite players and still have enough to fill out a squad. What we have is a very small squad, some of whom are elite the rest who are bang average. We don't want to sell our elite players so we try to sell our average players to generate money to buy more average players in the hopes that we can turn chicken shit into chicken salad. There has to be more of an investment from the club to augment the talent not just lower the wage structure and average age. Bakayoko and Matic are a wash. Matic has more experience but in terms of talent they are similar. We didn't get better we got younger. Morata and Costa is a no brainer. Costa is better, older and more expensive. He didn't want to be here so we got Morata who is younger and cheaper, there is an immediate drop off there. And then on top of that we haven't even provided Conte with the means to create competition. Zappacosta is garbage... there is no way in hell he can push Moses from his spot. Alonso has absolutely no peer despite being poor in every area except aerial duels and goalscoring. Pedro? Average Willian? The definition of inconsistent. Drinkwater? Don't even get me started... we've assembled a slightly above average squad after winning the title with ease. A little investment from the club and we'd be sitting pretty this year. Instead we're back fighting for a champions league spot again.
