  1. Both moves acquiring Hazard and Hulk have been terrific for bringing new young talent to the club. But, don't overlook the positive ripple effects these will have. You shouldn't try to analyze Hazard or Hulk's individual stats to see what type of impact they'll have, you have to look at how they are pieces to the bigger puzzle, that is nicely rounding into form. With a frontline of Mata Hazard Hulk with Torres up front, you have all four playing their natural position and will be able to feed off of eachother's talents and creativity. Torres is now the man, no sitting behind DidiLegend. We all know he's a primadonna who wants the attention on himself and wants to be in the spotlight. Well, this year not only will he be THE guy, but he will have a GREAT supporting cast of very creative players alongside him. Last year the team didn't gel when Torres played and didn't play to his stregths. This year, to me it looks like the right pieces of the overall puzzle are in place and this will help Torres tremendously, and in turn help us make a run for the damn PL title.
  2. He accomplished everything while with this club, and for that we fans shall be forever grateful. Didier Drogba, an absolute legend.
  3. Wish I could have been at Allianz to celebrate, or in London. What an amazing end to a crazy season. It was meant to be ours this season. I dont know which was better, the look on Schweinsteiger's face after he hit woodwork or Didi's cap on a remarkable career with the Blues. KTBFFH!
  4. Would you guys rather CFC acquire Falcao or Demba Ba?
  5. Dortmund is absolutely picking them apart. Can't wait til we do the same. They are vulnerable if you pick your spots well.
  6. When Torres plays hard, he's one of my favorite players to watch. So talented.
  7. Speakin of, has anyone seen Ramos' penalty kick come down yet? Nice kick you chump. Sweet hairband.
  8. Man just watching highlights again, I have to say that Lampard's through ball to Ramires was a PERFECT pass. What a play. That led to the goal, which led to a turn in momentum right before half. To me, that pass was the turning point and deserves more credit. Fantastic.
  9. Wow. Amazing. Chelsea til I die. When you play like warriors and play as a team (even a team of 10), anything's possible. KTBFFH!
  10. Does anyone know if Drogba made the trip to Spain? Any word on the liklihood of him playing? I wouldn't be as dissapointed as some if Torres ended up playing, but I want Didi if he's fit.
  11. Does anyone in the US know what channel on Comcast this game can be seen on? Doesn't look like Fox Soccer will be airing it. I need to watch this game even if it is at 6:30am on a Saturday. Thanks!
  12. I think some people may be overthinking this. The priority is the CL. Think about it, we have a very ligitimate shot at getting through against the best club in the world and playing in the finals of the CL. The discussions about the importance of the Arsenal game are all revolving getting into the CL next year, and of course that's a goal too. But let's not always be planning for the next year. This year we have a real opportunity in the CL, and we have to keep that at the top of the priority list. Plus, as another poster said, even if we do lose to Arsenal that doesn't mean CL hopes are dashed, not by a longshot. When you get the chance in the CL, you take advantage of it. The time is ours to do exactly that.
