May I suggest to those that are dissatisfied with Rafa to post anything about Rafa, profanity included just to get it off their chest ? Vent it off, just get it over with & start posting about his ability as the Chelsea coach.

The bigger they are...fat, skinny, tall, short...pretty, ugly...I am not looking to date him. I just want him to coach the team & win games.

OK boys, keep your hopes up. Soon, the transfer market opens & Chelsea´s Roman is ready to start shopping. I believe, one or two players are coming in. After all, so much money spent in the summer he can not afford to let the team fighting for CL placement for next year. I am almost certain something is cooking at Stamford. As they say, patience is the virtue.

Since we all are entitled to an opinion, here is mine. Rafa has done a terrific job turning things around at Chelsea in the face of plenty of adversity.

rafafan, most of your points are well said. To question Rafa & blame him for the loss is just clueless, I feel. As you pointed out for South Americans the cup is almost the biggest trophy to win. For Chelsea it was not. Lethargic approach by Chelsea players was seen. Perhaps, had they scored on given chances, they could have won the game, who knows ? Too late now, isn´t it ?

Quite the contrary. I do not protect Rafa at all. I just posted about his managerial ability. Currently, Chelsea under his guidance are playing better. That´s the bottom line for me. The club´s playing style of football sits well with me.

If we were to play an open game against them, I doubt it. However, Chelsea seems to have their numbers. Therefore, I honestly do not know. Also, I do not speculate much on the outcome of games. Every game is different.

Have I not said I do not care how many honors Rafa gets ? Rafa implements the tactics & players adhere to it or not. The glory is attributed to the goal scorers.

Any trophy is nice to have, I feel. However, the team is just getting better & better, lately. Since so many games are played, the team can not be up for them all. Some you win, some you don´t. For me PL, CL, FA & perhaps Carling Cup are important. Mavbe even Europa league, not sure here. Thursdays games & then Sundays just might be too much to overcome. If Rafa can help the team in winning FA or Carling just to save this season, Chelsea qualifies for CL I just might be satisfied...? My biggest wish is to see the club playing games that I can watch & be proud of the team. No more of that park the bus shit, for me.

May I remind you Rafa is the coach & not the one who scores goals. Players are responsible for scoring, simple as that. He came to Chelsea when the club was in bad form. Ever since, he made them better, the results are there for us all to see. So far, so good, I feel.

As we all know the game in Japan is not well regarded among players. Perhaps, the boys were not up to it ? To blame Rafa because the players did not score, seems a bit odd to me.

The way I saw it. Plenty of chances were offered but none scored. Had those chances were converted, we would not question his choice of players, then.
