I think the board would be idiots once again if we sell him. Money is one thing, but its far from everything. Just because we would get couple millions for Luiz, doesnt make it right thing to do. Luiz is positive character, knows the club and is at age when he can contribute in many ways. But i have no doubt the board will ship him off as soon as they smell couple millions, because heeey he isnt in starting eleven. The board would probably sell entire bench if the money was right... Bunch of idiots running the club no wonder we have no depth if we treat non starters in such shitty way. Conte is a child too if he cant get over and talk to Luiz and solve the situation in normal conversation instead.

Winning PL is more difficult than winning Ligue 1. Its definately bigger achievement here. Eden didnt even play in CL, so we cant hardly compare their performances there, but Mbappe had excellent CL campaign indeed. However simply put, considering they can both play in same position, who would you prefer? I would definately not have Mbappe ahead of Eden last season nor this season in Chelsea. Mbappe can score more indeed, but Eden is allround playmaker, dribbler and very decent scorer too. And yes Mbappe was 18 last season. If you throw that out, then compare him to other 18 year olds where he easily wins in quality. But when you compare who is best in the world, age has nothing to do with it. 18 or 32, if you are best you are best. Just because someone is younger, doesnt mean he gets different criteria to be judged on. It just tells he has higher potential for the future. Hands down last season Cr, Messi, Neymar and Hazard were in league of their own, much like this season but with CR in decline. Then come the likes of Mbappe, Lewandowski, Modric etc. Mbappe has serious potential though. But his ability is to be extremly skilled goalscorer and when he bangs 30 a season, then we will talk he fullfilled his potential, and be compared to worlds best. Right now, Eden is still ways ahead, as are some other players. Its kind of sad he gets so little recognition even among Chelsea fans. Mbappe considering he is 18 had awesome season, but when comparing him to worlds best, they do it every season, almost every game.

Oh come on. Mbappe didnt have as good season as Eden last year 😂 I love watching Mbappe, he is great already, but Eden raises the level. He is among very top players in europe, Mbappe still has to get there. Mbappe got all that hype in CL and it went like a train...he is fantastic yes, but it all got blown out. In no world are Ramos, Silva, Bonucci...better defenders than Chiellini, Barzagli, Azpilicueta, Godin,...yet they get more recognition because of their fancy football style. Saying defender is good when he can pass well and defend average is like saying striker is good for his link up and not finishing. Defenders defend and strikers have to score goals. Period. Being versatile is just bonus, but not requirement. All in all the balondor just turned into a joke popularity contest whatever way you turn it...

He is super super efficient in attack. Thats something it should be valued very highly. But his speed and defending are very poor... We definately need another first team LB and those two can then have healthy competition. Im just dissapointed, when there was plenty of Sandro talk in august, Alonso was on fire, then he just dropped level after window closed...

I find it interesting we pass teams who want to play against us fair and square rather easily. Huddersfield, Soton, Bournemouth...such nice squads. However teams with plenty of tricks in them like Palace, Burnley,...give us quite some problem.

I dont watch him much this season, but last season he was definition of efficiency and stability. Thats why he got big price. Everyone was over Bernardo Silva, but to me Lemar was the guy. He knew when to pass, when to shoot, when to dribble, when to keep the ball and he was great at everything. You have trick players with big stats, then you have players who actualy get shit done when it matters. Lemar is certainly the later. Perhaps we need player who belongs in former, but Lemar is quality too. Not to mention he is serious work horse, for attacker at least. Im not sure he is worth 80m now tho, but the potential is certainly there. If we ended up with Sandro, Lemar and Aouar, I would be in heaven.

I always thought there was more recognition for Terry and Drogba than Lamps, at least outside uk. Drogba was popular face in media, for his kindness to africa especialy and gave him alot of attention, terry on other hand was always in some affairs, which made him realy popular, but still everyone respected and appreciated his quality on pitch. Lamps was obviously super player too, but IMO never got that fame of other two. Those two were always regarded among best in their time, but for Lamps, there was never as much attention to him as it was for Xavi, Kaka,...I mean Lamps got to 3rd place in balondor, but media never gave him recognition he deserved. He was certainly among if not most efficient midfielder in 00s.

Gremio has already announced they will put barca on fifa court for talking to Arthur without approval (something like that)... Gremio representatives stated they will not sell to barca after such disrespect...arthur has clause of 80m though.

I will be judging him at the end of next season. He may have crap games, he may have good games now, but the question is how good he can get and not how good he is now.

Tbh when it comes to football, watching Eden and others, but mostly Eden, it means soo much more than winning the title. Sure the tiles are fun, but goals, tricks, passes and dribbles are what makes football. Having a player like Eden who delivers it every week with a bang is worth much more than a title. If we had 3 players like Eden imagine that...all the awesome actions they would pull for years. Naturaly playing well goes hand in hand with titles, but I would still value great games by players more than title alone. I love our CL win against bayern, but my favourite game of Chelsea is hands down against Napoli at SB when we completely dominated them 4:1 after losing 3:1 in naples. That spirit, that fight and the fans were simply ecstatic. I remember that game like it was yesterday.

Funny how qarabag in a way saved us to promotion after those draws with atletico. Its like a miracle atletico didnt win either game against them considering we put 10 goals total against qarabag. Written in the stars? I loved how we played today, but finishing was below amateur. Would be 4:1 at least if we were calm in realization. Eden tho my fav player since lille days but this season he is reaching 4th dimension with these games. Shame he doesnt have single player on similar level here.

Not sure why again so many negative critics...we play well, defense is organised and when we retrieve the ball (we made several great tackles and intereceptions), we attack quickly. The ball flows from player to player and almost everytime we create something. We chase for every ball too. Just because we let them play (and so war they only waste time passing around midfield), doesnt mean we are not interested. First half, we prepared excelently IMO. Frustrate them with strong defence and kill them on quick counters. Every time we go forward, we play realy well. The only problem I see, we dont have quality finishers. Morata did well today, but missed that ball, same with Eden. Others are simply not good finishers. We need another player who can score, ie Pedro or maybe Willian who is in good form right now. Oblak is awesome too.

Jesus this kid is too good. Get him before the hype comes in. Seriously perfect midfielder for our team. He is young and needs time and regular time, but he is already playing at very high level there, much like Mbappe did last season, but he isnt in CL and no one knows him yet.
