  1. True. Karim didn't have major injury but he is 36. A lot older than all of the dud loans. There's a possibility he won't able to cope with the demands of the league even. And we will need to change the striker again in the summer and start all over again. Signing a 27-29 year old will also bring in the experience and has a better chance of working out medium term.
  2. Our wage structure will not allow this. + Short-term loan fixes are not the way to go. We've seen it with Saul, Higuain, Falcao, Pato, Sign a striker in their prime.
  3. I think Nkunku is not playing because he's injured again - hip injury. I doubt Mudryk would play over Nkunku at any point.
  4. From where did Spurs unearth Udogie and Porro ? They’re both great
  5. I was happy with Enzo and Caicedo. I wanted the club to sign a midfielder who plays better with the attacking line (Odegaard lite) and not just a group of DMs like we ended up doing - Caicedo Lavia and Ugo in the summer
  6. Doesn’t feel like it but Chelsea is above Newcastle and Man United in the table and we have won 4 of the last 5 in the league.
  7. Really shows the difference in thinking where Pep was targeting Paqueta, Nunes in midfield and we were looking at pure data driven DM signings.
  8. Same day last year. Willian scored in a 2-1 loss. Won't be surprised to see this repeat
  9. High end wonderkid Brazilian. The new Endrick
  10. More proof Matt Law has lost his sources at the club
  11. Identity alone will only take you so far. We will have the same problems in creating. We need an obsessive Pep type coach who’s able to drill attacking patterns into the young team.
  12. A big no to this. Among the worst routes to take. His toxic narcisstic personality with the current squad will lead to the stages of burnout that you always see with Mourinho tenures. There’s no indication he’s able to build a team anymore. His last 3 jobs have had little meaningful success. The last time he built a good team was 14-15 Chelsea and that was by sacrificing KdB, Salah for Cesc, Costa. The team didn’t sustain form beyond one season either.
  13. Would it be completely wrong to say we’ve been milked by some agents who hyped up their clients using YouTube compilations and PR? Washington, David Fofana, Diego Moreira, Lesley Ugo and few others fall in this category. Little experience, lot of hype.
  14. I don’t think performances in this Chelsea team + out of position is any measure of his ability. He’s been called up to England for a reason. There’s a potential top CB in the league by age 24-25 imo
  15. There's a huge difference between LB and CB. Half a season in his second position when he's 20 isn't going to help him at all.
  16. Spent 18million on him. At some point there needs to be an enquiry into the Clearlake spendings. I doubt we make any money back on the youngsters we have signed.
  17. There was no need to sell Hall when they clearly rated him above Maatsen and Cucurella had question marks all over him. This is a problem of the board’s own making
  18. This cup run was the only goodwill keeping Poch clear of the sack.
