Let's wait and see. Tosin and KDH are not slotting in and improving our XI imo. I'm not negative but we are still few players short of making a strong squad. After that, the work is yet to really begin and this squad needs to play in a functional system that creates chances and controls the ball vs teams. Being comfortably superior to teams is not enough as we have found. Teams can frustrate this Chelsea team if they're organized I feel. This team can be good when they're attacking spaces behind a big team but I'm not sure we have become better vs the smaller teams with our incomings (including the injury returns)

I think even Gallagher is going to leave. Its ruthless but it makes sense to sell him Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, KDH, Carney are the main options. Carney, Palmer can play in the advanced midfield role. Veiga can play in the deeper role. They'll keep one of Casadei or Ugochukwu for cover.

There are a few distribution keepers around - Marcin Bulka, James Trafford and Alvaro Valles. Club will look at them and not Diogo Costa, Marmadashvili etc

Petrovic is a solid keeper but today, you need a keeper who's much better on the ball. I'm not saying Sanchez is great but if we're keeping one of the two, it should be Sanchez.

The Lunin story is not being corroborated by anyone Nizaar Kinsella has reported Filip Jorgensen and Marmadashvili are high on the club's GK list. Petrovic is being offered to clubs.

The market's changed. Everyone's more sober this window because of financial concerns. The dominos haven't moved like they did in the 22 or 23 summer window. I'm okay with the business. I think wage structure came in the way and I don't think Osimhen is the kind of player you break a wage structure for.

My feeling - we end up with Summerville for LW Nico Williams, Olise, Doue, Mathys Tel were out of reach. Adeyemi was not a serious target.

I was going by the person who posted on this thread saying City's best players were bought before "proven" Only goes to reinforce the point we need to be more aggressive in the 22-27 age bracket of the transfer market

They have bought many before they were proven - Alvarez, Ederson, Ruben Dias, Ake, Akanji. But they do spend when they need to - Grealish, Rodri, Haaland, Dias, Gvardiol. They have been seriously linked to senior players like Paqueta, Eze, Dani Olmo in last one year. Asking for 2-3 senior players to round up the young squad we have and give us some leadership is not as crazy as people here are making it out to be. Our summer signings so far - Kellyman (18), Guiu (18), Veiga (20), KDH (25), Tosin (26) when there are obvious gaps still left to be addressed - GK and striker.

Can't believe the situation the club has got into because of this. We identified him, went all in on him and got him as the midfield lynchpin for years. He won't be sold. Buyers will wait for this to blow over. A lot of people are rightly pissed at him. This will harm the squad if the club doesn't act strongly against Enzo on this. Can expect tension with Nkunku, Fofana and Disasi.
