Okay. He's currently injured. But, before his injury, his transfer to City seemed very likely. Any chance of us being back in for him? Anyone know if he's going to be back by January? All of the other top teams seem to have signed new CBs this summer. Maybe we can get to the top of the queue?

This season's Chelsea has been the most enjoyable since Carlo. I know it's 3/4 matches that we should win. I'm not getting ahead of myself when it comes to results or future results. But more about the manner of play. The way they are playing makes me excited.

We need the 3rd. If Burnley score, it's going to be squeaky bum time at the end.

Mario to Inter, surely means Brozovic to us. Why aren't we the ones getting Mario? Have we fallen that far without CL?

What do you think we're going to end up with? I think: In: Brozovic, Ghoulam Out: Cuadrado (though reports suggest that Conte is hesitant until we get a replacement, haven't been linked with any wingers, so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) We're paper thin, we need replacements for anyone who leaves, just can't see it happening. I'm hoping for an exciting deadline day with sightings at Heathrow, but it doesn't look likely with the speed we take. Though, Batshuayi was done pretty quickly. Maybe we're just going to wait at the airport and hijack anyone coming to London for a medical.

1 week until the window closes + new owners who want to reassure the fans = an offer they can't refuse. We're offering good money for this player. Milan would make a tidy profit on one season. But, it's not really an offer they can't refuse.

Of all the name's we're currently linked with, this seems the most likely, and also the one I want the least. No knock against James, but really, we need a CB, FB & CM far more than we need an attacking midfielder.

If we end up with a CB and a LB, I'll be extremely happy. If we get a B2B midfielder as well, I'll be over the moon.

I'm also in favour of a Matuidi Fabs Kante midfield if Nainggolan is a no go (which seems to be the case).
