Will eventually be linked with Jonjo Shelvey

Craven Cottage is great. The fans are great. Living in Fulham or Putney is great. He should really reconsider. There's also a lovely French cheese truck in the North End Road market on the weekends (at least there used to be).

The idea of a Golovin, Kante, Jorginho midfield is really exciting. Hopefully, after all the negativity, we can pull this off. It would be a real statement.

We've been waiting for the Vitality UK insurance contract to start before announcing new signings or clarify the managerial situation. Have to have a photo of the new boys filling out Vitality paperwork. Note: This is tongue in cheek for anyone who doesn't remember the ridiculous "Nike contract" delays of last summer.
-
So, I guess we're going to wait for his clause to expire. Then, assume that once Nice get a replacement in, that will mean that we can get him for free. Hot Sunday.
-
If he comes here, that probably means no Jorginho. No Jorginho probably means no Sarri (if we are to believe that we need to overpay for Jorginho in order to get Sarri).
-
I don't think there are many people that actually want him to leave. It's more like: If you don't want to sign a new deal and want to leave on a free next summer, then you can go. You're a good keeper but we won't miss the constant flirting with Madrid, or your dad. If you want to sign and commit to the club, we'd love to keep you here. In the end, 50M or whatever we get is a lot better than 0M next summer.
-
I don't think it's really about desperation, at least not 100%. He's probably thinking what a lot of us on here are thinking: If you can spend 30M on Drinkwater, what's the problem with shelling out 9M if you really want to be rid of me? I think that part of it is the principle. The club have been making googly-eyes at managers all summer. Why should he deny what he's owed, just to make things easier on the club that is trying to replace him? If your new missus was looking for a new guy, would you move out and give her the house to make her dating life easier (even if you didn't really want to be there)?
-
I'd 100% hang around at a party that didn't want me there for 9M.
-
I can't get excited about this. It's too good to be true.
-
So, next summer then. We'll be on to a new managerial target and need a different kind of profile to Seri.
-
Has it come to this? It's like deadline day on the BBC page. Such and such has been spotted at the airport.... Riquelme rumours incoming.

I'm tired of Sarri-ball already. #Sarriout #Backtopragmatism #Suffer

Hmmm...I could do with a career change. First come, first serve? Or cheapest option? I'll bring my Football Manager records with me in case there's any competition. Already dreaming of that sweet pay-off.

I think it's Kovacic OR Serri. 3 man midfield, you're looking at 5/6 players, plus maybe a young option used sparingly (which RLC doesn't want) So: Kante Golovin Serri/Kovacic and 2/3 out of: Fabregas (unmoveable), Baks, Drinkwater, RLC, Barkley Can see RLC out on loan again. We'll see what happens. I'm pretty sure that we'll get Golovin, maybe Serri, doubtful on Kovacic (maybe we can do a Courtois swap if we're really interested).
-
We also had a technical director as well
-
I think Sarri can get goals out of Morata. Higuain's numbers never looked as good as when he was playing under Sarri.
-
If we're really serious, then a Courtois swap deal (plus cash) should be discussed.
-
If he were taller, he would have saved that.
-
I know he's touted as an attacking midfielder, and I definitely think he's got the right mentality for it. But, sometimes, it looks like his technique lets him down a bit. He seems (from the admittedly limited time I've seen him) to beat his player with his strength. If he could work on his fitness, I'd really like to see him as a box to box player.
-
30M?!?! Hope someone's dumber than we are. That's ridiculous.
-
As long as he doesn't constantly talk about how much he misses Rome and his father keeps his mouth shut with the press, I'm happy.
-
He has to. As of right now, he is still the manager. If he were to be negligent in his duties, there may be financial repercussions in regards to his compensation. He has to go along as if he were the manager, it's still his job.

Thanks for the assist.
