  1. Trust me, what you said there did cross my mind before and maybe you're right, but it's also hard not to ignore the fact that his form dropped after the interest came from China. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe not.
  2. + Palace hadn't picked up a point and scored a goal in a London derby this season before today...
  3. 4 league defeats this season. All 4 in London. Weird...
  4. Disagree. He's more like an inside forward when playing at the front - less focus on creating, more on linking up and finishing. Bloody different to when his task is primarily to create from wide areas.
  5. Fail to beat City and fair to say then, all hell will break loose...
  6. The whole team needs to turn up, not just Hazard. We won't beat City if we only 2-3 players on their game and the rest go AWOL.
  7. Like I said, do you expect him to perform better while playing at WB? As one of the front 3 attackers, he doesn't really have to beat players and can focus on linking up and finishing chances. It's a different story altogether when playing him at WB - he's had to constantly beat players (which is not his strength) and stay out wide as opposed to coming inside and playing to his strengths.
  8. The club will probably sack him first before he gets the chance to do that.
  9. Do people really expect Pedro to do well at WB? Yeah, he scored a few goals from that position in the FA Cup but he's never fully convinced and was even given the runaround by Wolves. Asking him to do it in the Premier League, even at home, is suicidal, especially against the likes of Zaha, Puncheon etc. And not to mention, it was so awkward watching him trying to beat players from wide areas. Said this from last season, he's never looked comfortable when asked to do. Surprised Conte didn't play Willian at WB instead.
  10. People seem to have forgotten that City gave us a runaround back at the Etihad Stadium. They should have won the game but we only won thanks to some clinical counter attacks and catastrophic defending from them. Palace rode their luck against us today and I think we're need to do the same in some ways on Wednesday.
  11. Is he trying to intentionally cost us the title? The Costa from the first half of the season would have buried the chances he got today but ever since that interest from China fiasco, he hasn't been taking his chances and has been making a lot of wrong decisions. It's almost as if he's taking revenge after the club didn't let him leave in January.

  13. Will never understand why managers bring players on when chasing a game with 1-2 minutes left. Pointless.
  14. Indeed but what I would say though is that I thought we lost our way and a bit of our discipline after those quickfire goals. Though we created lots of chances and should have taken them, we kept doing the same things and didn't do anything different. It almost became too predictable despite Palace riding their luck throughout the match.

  16. From what we've heard so far, it seems the board aren't interested in selling Hazard either. The fact that they are willing bump his wages up to 300k (assuming true) despite that we may receive a bid worth 100m+ says a lot. Guess it'll come down to whether Hazard actually wants to go.
  17. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-vs-crystal-palace-team-10130917#ICID=sharebar_twitter According to Mirror, Hazard may be rested for the City game and Moses is a doubt with a calf injury.

  19. The paranoid side of me is saying "that doesn't sound very convincing"...
  20. Luiz is back. Reportedly going after Lukaku and now Bertrand. Expecting bids for Mata, Schurrle, De Bruyne very soon...
  21. Wenger and Redknapp are both twats. Forever with their 'we almost/could have signed him but...' bla bla bla.
