  1. Our last 4 league results at Old Trafford: D 0-0 D 1-1 D 0-0 W 0-1
  2. Goalscoring feat aside, he's really becoming as farcical and frustrating as Torres.
  3. Eden, please keep up this form for the remaining 7 games (or at least next 5). Pretty please...
  4. Manchester United 2-0 Chelsea PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2016/17 Premier League Match 32 16th April, Sunday, 2017 Old Trafford 16:00 Kick Off (UK time)
  5. Not underestimating but merely assessing what could be at stake for the other team in Spurs' run-in. It's easy to say now 'this will be tough, that will be tough for them' (I've been thinking the same) but by the time those games come around, those teams could be in 'beach mode' already. I do think they'll drop points somewhere but you never know IF they might just win all, just like no one had thought we would win 13 league games in a row this season.
  6. 1. Huge, massive, vital win. Relieved given we have United, Southampton and Everton coming up. 2. Are we ever going to keep a clean sheet again? 3. Costa is seriously approaching the Torres level of useless-ness. No longer scoring the goals and not even contributing anything meaningful to our attacks. Gotta hope Hazard and the others step up and produce the goals.
  7. Not saying Leicester can't/won't beat Spurs but banking on them to do that because they hate them seems a tad silly. For all we know, Leicester might not even give a toss by then, especially IF they progress in the Champions League. And pretty sure part of the reason Spurs lost to Southampton and Newcastle because the title was gone for them and hence, the motivation went out of the window.
  8. Leicester to take points off Spurs because they hate them is hardly a strong incentive for them as compared to us, Arsenal or even West Ham. Problem with Spurs facing Leicester, Hull etc is that they'll likely face both on the final weekend of the season, when they could be safe and have 0 motivation left. If we're going to win the title, you hope we would have sealed it by then rather than still hoping for teams to beat/draw with Spurs.
  9. Bournemouth's home record vs the top 7 this season: L 1-3 Man United D 0-0 Tottenham W 1-0 Everton W 4-3 Liverpool D 3-3 Arsenal L 0-2 Man City
  10. Chelsea's ability to "suffer" with Conte is pushing them to Premier League title
  11. Yeah but what does that have to do with our issue at defending set pieces? That could have cost us last night at a crucial point of the season and had that happened, doubt anyone would be sitting confidently here and talking about swings and roundabouts.
  12. But it might come to haunt us in the run-in. Had Stones converted that late chance yesterday, we would be sitting here cursing Matic for letting him go unmarked.
  13. We haven't kept a clean sheet in the league since late January, which is a worry, but is anyone else also concerned about our defending at set pieces - most notably free kicks? We look prone to conceding from them in recent weeks and were lucky not to yesterday with Kompany hitting the crossbar and Stones missing from 4-5 yards out.
  14. On the basis of what West Ham have produced this season, I'm expecting Spurs to beat them easily. But if there's any hope for a West Ham win, it's the fact that the Spurs match will be a cup final for them and they're battling to avoid the drop. So maybe, just maybe, they might cause an upset there. As for Leicester, if we do our job properly, what they do against Spurs isn't going to matter because that match is likely to be in the final week of the season. We may have won the title by then (fingers crossed). Considering we have an Italian manager, we are bound to be pragmatic in certain big games and even if we want to dominate the big teams, we don't have the team right now to do it. We only have like 2-3 technical players and that isn't enough. Had we gone out to do that against City, we would haven been slaughtered on the break as we saw on some occasions in the first half and that's us not even looking to be on the front foot.
  15. Is it too much to ask for a win AND a clean sheet? Haven't had one since late January!
  16. Stepped up when it mattered. Well done, Eden.

  18. Played well vs Crystal Palace = 0 points Played crap vs Man City = 3 points WHAT A MASSIVE WIN!
  19. Of course it's real! http://www.espnfc.com/manchester-united/story/3096395/jose-mourinho-tells-luke-shaw-he-has-to-change-his-football-brain
  20. Shaw seriously needs to leave United. Won't get anywhere under Mourinho.
