  1. Even if it's Drinkwater and Zappacosta...?
  2. TBH, I don't think Sarri helped matters last season. He absolved Jorginho of any blame, poor performances etc and threw others under the bus instead. Jorginho might not be close to Sarri but Sarri's comments certainly reeked of favoritism.
  3. True but I don't think Pochettino has done any favor to that by constantly playing down the chances to win trophies, the two trophies that are easier for them to win than the other two.
  4. 'Sarri wasn't my friend': Jorginho opens up on relationship with ex-Chelsea boss and says he hopes to play with more freedom under Frank Lampard after praising new formation
  5. Maybe but Pochettino's constant dismissal of the League Cup and FA Cup is baffling, especially when he hasn't won a trophy and Spurs haven't won a trophy since 2008 (long it may continue!). They're good enough to win those domestic cups but Pochettino has never taken them seriously.
  6. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/07/24/miazga-returns-to-the-royals Loaned to Reading for the 2019/20 season.
  7. Nagelsmann hops between a back 3 and back 4 system and with Leipzig also playing in Europe, Ampadu should get good amount of game time there.
  8. It's not compulsory to fill all the 17 non-HG and 8 HG slots. James, CHO and Mount will be in the U21 list, not HG as you mentioned above. As it stands, our squad is pretty bloated: Non-Homegrown (17) Kepa Caballero Rudiger Luiz Alonso Zappacosta Azpi Emerson Zouma Jorginho Kante Kovacic Bakayoko Pedro Willian Giroud Batshuayi Homegrown (5) Christensen Drinkwater Barkley Loftus-Cheek Abraham U21* (5) Cumming James Hudson-Odoi Pulisic Mount * For the 2019/20 season, U21 players will consist of players born on or after 1 January 1998.
  9. If you want to keep on insisting it's all about the money, then sure...
  10. Our No.10 shirt has gotten fancy all of a sudden...
  11. The treatment of Bale in Spain has been nothing short of disgrace. He may have had a lot of injuries, he may be inconsistent when fit but the guy has scored a number of important goals in their last few trophy hauls and yet, gets treated like shit. On the other hand, it's within his rights to stay and "milk" his big fat contract but from a person's perspective, I don't really get why Bale has been hell bent on staying at Madrid all these years. Gets treated like shit despite helping the team to success. Does he not have some self dignity/self pride? Is the money really that important to him? Money is money but kinda hard to believe a human is willing to tolerate getting disrespected/abused by basically everyone around on a weekly basis for the money. Also, this Bale situation is another example why clubs should never offer players ridiculous amount of wages. So hard to get rid of when that player is past their peak.
  12. Gladbach and RB Salzburg next week.
  13. It's reported in most of the news outlets. Waiting for official confirmation from the club...
