  1. In the club's match preview, they posted this... https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/12/06/pre-match-briefing--everton-vs-chelsea?cardIndex=0-2
  2. Yeah, expected to be out for about 10 weeks. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50606908
  3. At this point, probably not. He has become injury prone at Barcelona and also seems to have some off the field issues.
  4. Lampard on... https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/lampard-transfer-ban-chelsea-live-17374525 ...CAS decision ...New signings ...Transfer market being a challenge ...Signing players in January
  5. TEAM NEWS - Abraham (should be) available for the game. This game comes too soon for Rudiger but he's on the verge of returning.
  6. Why would Dortmund sell Sancho in January when they have their own objectives to achieve this season? Hardly think his situation is at breaking point where Dortmund will absolutely sell him next month. Unless someone pay stupid money for him, Dortmund will hold out till the summer and start a bidding way between the big clubs. Also, I find it amusing that people are turning a blind eye on his disciplinary issues at Dortmund. If he's Brazilian and not English, I'm certain the perception of fans on him would be a whole lot different, leaning more towards the negative side regardless of his talents.
  7. Think it's more of a case of having the option to buy in January, than the need to buy in January. We all know acquiring top transfer targets is tough during that month but if you can have the option to buy, then why not just have it? At least in our current situation, we can sell some deadwoods and get in replacements.
  8. Chelsea transfer ban lifted – with Chilwell and Zaha in their sights this is what it means for January https://theathletic.com/1438579/2019/12/06/chelsea-transfer-ban-lifted-with-chilwell-and-zaha-in-their-sights-this-is-what-it-means-for-january/
  9. But spending 70 million is NOT THE SAME as spending 150 million, regardless of the position! Anyway, agree to disagree. Regarding Zaha, I'm not a fan of him but I don't think he's a smokescreen when we've been linked with him for some time now, long before Sancho even came about, and the links are still persisting. So, he's definitely on the club's target list but it's a question of whether he's the first choice or backup choice.
  10. Smokescreen or just you trying to convince yourself it's a smokescreen?
  11. Another great piece detailing Pulisic's improvement for us. https://statsbomb.com/2019/12/christian-pulisic-is-on-his-way-to-becoming-a-superstar/
  12. Arsenal are closer to the relegation zone (5 points) than the Top 4 (10 points). Yikes!
  13. They are a joke defensively. Never mind their rubbish defenders, their off the ball work is so bad!
  14. It's gotten to the point where the "easy games" have become "very hard games" for Arsenal. Only 2 points picked up in last 3 against Southampton, Norwich and Brighton. Were very fortunate to even pick up that 2 points!
  15. Jesus! Arsenal got out-shot in a game...again! 12 to Brighton's 20 shots!
