Wonder if they're only the board's targets OR Lampard's & the board's targets as well...

Do wonder whether our attackers are having the mental pressure when it comes to converting chances. We are creating chances and obviously not converting enough but while it's right to point it out, I wonder whether Lampard's constant talk about it in his presser and the fact that we keep on conceding goals are putting more pressure than necessary on our attacking players to score when chances come their way. At the moment, it feels like we pretty much have to outscore opponents just to win games. We can't seem to win games 1-0 or even just 2-0 right now. All the games of late have been tight and unnecessary edgy when they don't need to be.

Conte's European record is dreadful. Suspect he won't care much about the Europa League and will throw all the eggs into the Serie A basket.

Ancelotti is not exactly a strong manager when it comes to league football. Won't be concerned too much long term if he goes to Arsenal. Also, can Ancelotti even sort out the mess there? If you look at his past clubs, he's always better when there is already a structure in place and the club just need the manager to keep things ticking.

We have seen that kind of situation with a lot of attacking players, TBF.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK! I don't think Sancho has even played as the No.10 before. In any case, we definitely need someone to contribute in final third more consistently, Sancho or not. Right now, our attacking front 3 are Pulisic, Abraham and Willian but only 2 of them are posting consistent threat in the final third.

I don't mean to be harsh and apologies if I am but at what point do we stop using his injury as an excuse (pardon the harsh word) for his poor form? Obviously, I don't expect him to be in peak form at this point but he's barely making any impact right now and as you pointed out, he was actually good when he first came back but he's suddenly just gone off the boil badly. Think what he can or perhaps should do is try to simplify his game to get back into rhythm or regain the confidence, instead of doing the things that he normally does.

But he showed he can prosper on the RW last season? Personally, I'd want the wingers to be able to play on both flanks as opposed to just one side. Obviously they would have their 'specialized side' but if they can operate in the less 'specialized side' (pardon my own terms lol). then it would give us a bit more options. I mentioned this before but I really want to know what is Lampard's long term plan with Pulisic and CHO. Are they really only gonna play on the left? Are they gonna be fighting out for game time for the SAME spot going forward? I know Pulisic is doing extremely well on the LW for us but he did make his name on the RW at Dortmund. Would like to see him at RW again and see how he fares.

I'd presume he still has a property in London from his time with us, so it would make more sense. Don't think he would be London-sick like Mourinho was at Man United. Depends on which mess he would like to take. Could end up having Ancelotti vs Lampard later this month!
