Kepa's one of the reasons but not the only one, is it? You only have to look at the goals we conceded against United on Monday - weak and pathetic defending from the defenders ahead of the keeper.

At this point, I wonder if Lampard is waiting for a more gentle fixture to throw Kepa back in (e.g. Bournemouth next weekend). Because if Kepa is thrown back into one of these big games and costs us again, you feel like that's him gone then, the pressure will be even more relentless, the confidence will be shot etc.

Lampard said Christensen "has been playing so well and is in great form" earlier today... As I said the other day, I don't think Lampard has a clue on who his 2 best center backs are. The overall quality isn't great but yeah, he's almost making things up as they go along. Hopefully, we're looking at least at one CB upgrade in the summer!

Giroud starting? I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. Lampard was still going around the circles regarding him in his presser and said Abraham has competition in the striker area! As for Loftus-Cheek, I'd be surprised if Lampard really throws him back into action so quickly, despite what he said. He might have been training with the first team but he has only played only 1 U23 game so far, IIRC, to get his match fitness back up.
