In their last 7 European home games, Ajax have won only once (vs Lille) and lost 4 of those games. While we did play well and were the better team that night in Amsterdam, I'm not sure why you keep on bigging up this Ajax side like they were the Ajax from 70s or 90s. This Ajax is good, but not that good as you keep making them out to be.

Just realized United face Everton, City, Spurs and Sheffield United in their next 4 league games...

You're right but I doubt Hazard bothers about that much. Maybe and it's obviously down to him to make his time at Madrid a success but even if it doesn't turn out to be a success, at least he won't retire thinking "what might have been" had we prevented his move or had he not taken the chance to play for them. Must live without regrets, you know.

That's one cynical way of looking at it but can you really blame someone for wanting to fulfill their dream - in this case Hazard wanting to play for Real Madrid? Who could also predict the future? Who could have predicted that he would suffer two bone injuries from a kick, despite rarely suffering any notable injury while he was here?

Tell that to the people who freaked out because the contract situation took ages to be sorted out...

I'm sure Caballero will start on Tuesday. As for Kepa, I know the circumstances are different, but it's kinda funny how people like to jump the gun and say 'Player X is gone because of X, Y, Z' so quickly, because people did the same with CHO last summer and look what happened. We would probably look for a new keeper in the summer but I'd very surprised if Lampard doesn't put Kepa back in at some point to redeem himself.

We don't have a clear "advantage" over a certain type of teams but 6 of our remaining 11 games are against teams in the bottom half, most of them are fighting to avoid relegation... Bournemouth (a) - 16th Everton (h) - 10th Aston Villa (a) - 17th Man City (h) - 2nd West Ham (a) - 18th Watford (h) - 19th Crystal Palace (a) - 13th Sheffield United (a) - 6th Norwich (h) - 20th Liverpool (a) - 1st Wolves (h) - 9th 3 of those last 4 games though...EEK!
